Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Some of the Reception staff seemed to be over worked or under pressure. They were not able to attend to your requests as I wanted to extend my stay, had to rebook through Booking.com
I liked the room, view and location. Everything was good enough for the price. The location was great and easily accessible by metro.

Had issues with shower pressure. The knob that switches the water from tap to shower head wasn’t working well and needs to be fixed.

They have the worst internet connection specially on the 2nd floor . Almost it didn’t work and when you inform them the IT guy didn’t give you a solution , after lots of nagging they changed me my room. Since it is a big hotel , the internet connection shouldn’t be a problem .

For the initial two days, we were not given any toiletries but later on it was provided.
Everything was according to our expectations, views were very good. Creek was visible from the window of our room. Initially, we booked for 3 people but due to non-avaialbility of the selected room, we were upgraded to a room for 4 occupants without any cost.

We had a sea view room, but the window was dirty, so we couldn't enjoy the view. Also, the shower switch was broken. There was a problem that the car park and main road in front of the hotel were noisy, you might not sleep well if you are voice sensitive.

Gym is little small
Hotel lobby is not ok. Very small. But once we are inside, it's clean and modern design. Facilities are good. Small gym but enough to work out + Steam bath and swimming pool is good. Breakfast has many varieties from bakery to Local Indian food.

The hotel lobby was a bit tired looking, and there were some exposed wires in the room under the table. This did not bother us too much given that our kids are old enough not to pull at them, and we were using the room for a few hours for a nap and shower. Even so, I would stay here again if I had another stopover in Dubai.
We had a 14 hour stopover in Dubai and since we were travelling with small kids we decided to book a hotel room. We requested an early check-in, which was accommodated. The hotel is located in the heart of older part of the city with amazing views of the Dubai Creek. We were walking distance to reasonably priced restaurants, and about a 10 minute walk to the Abra, and Spice and Gold Souks. The room itself was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I had a short stopover in Dubai.
