Kuwaittotally disappointed from : all pillows ( were old & flat instead of being stuffed ( we kept struggling with them all nights due to being OLD & flat !!! ) plus the mattres was old that we sunk into it so all pillows & mattresses best be replaced for the rooms ... also first few days we used to hear noises next to us from adjacent room kids crying ... otherwise all food plus service was excellent ( only the bed & pillows were so annoying ) . friendly staff all of them 😀

GermanyI had a late arrival at about 04:00 at night and a hell of a trip there (from India with delayed, derouted and a mess of a flight). Falling asleep tiredly few minutes after arrival I was sitting in my bed just 2 hours later, wake up from noise from the door. Thought it is just a crazy service staff discussion. Then few time later night was over due to hydraulic hammers starting some demolition job. Called reception, but was advised that it is "morning" and nothing to do about. On check out I said, that I did not like the stay for that reason. Two days later on booking.com I saw, that the booking was "cancelled" from hotel side. It marked me as "no show". This made it impossible to post a "not so positive" review. Also it deprived booking.com from their comission and - most painful - it made it impossible to me to get a confirmation of stay from booking.com or such paper (invoice) from the hotel. Then tried by contacting hotel and booking.com to smth about it. No results. Except a warm excuse by booking.com and the possibility to post this review. The place would have got some 6.5-7.5 review from me without this noise and after stay trouble.
Arrival late night all seemed ok, normal room, normal reception. I usually not ask for printed invoice, as my travel department in the company accepts the booking.com records. Then I went to bed. From here, trouble started.

OmanThe resption during check-in kept me waiting 1 hr after midnight just to confirm if the guy in front of me did he payment or not. Then he was promissing to give me a non smoking room and he selected a smooking room. When i requested the cancel my reservation they showed me the room in order to confirm if i can smell any smoke. Well it was a smoking room after i checked it. Then the offered a non smooking room but with a connection door. -The open dick swimming pool was small and main was closed. -The massage male was on vecation and no-replacment provided. .

Oman- I booked two rooms, I had to wait one hour for my room to be ready! I received the second room at 1530. we had to wait the 6 of us in one room!! - Noisy becomes of the road although we were at the 9th floor! - can’t use gel and shampoo in the bathroom coz the bottles spry don’t work! - Very limited breakfast choices. - The staff in the restaurant are not welcoming.

Omanarrived at 16:20, room was not ready and I had to wait till 17:00 to enter my room. is this acceptable!!? check in from 14:00 and I am sure if I ask for late check out they will charge me for it. stains in the room carpet, not reflecting the standard of 5- star hotel which was disapointment. sound proofing is very bad, noise of the street is disturbing. Moreover, pillows were really uncomfortable. Finally, breakfast was really bad. It was the worste breakfast I had in a 5 star hotel. food wasn’t fresh, pastries were very hard like biscuits & filtered coffee was so bad. I had to change my plate so many times to try and have a decent breakfast, but I gave up with my wife and checked out and went to a nearby restaurent for a good breakfast. This was the worste hotel experince I had and will not go back to this hotel again even for free..

NetherlandsSmokingroom is standard and non smoking only when available! I booked a non smoking room and at the check in the lady at the lobby told me that we had to stay one night in a smoking room and that the smell was not bad. She said that she left a note for her collegues so we could be moved to a non smoking room. It was horrible at the smoking room and the day after we still did not get a non smoking room. But it was promised to us (check the camera’s if you don’t believe me) After 2 days and 4 times of begging luckely a friendly man helped us and gave us a non smoking room. Ps, the lady at the counter even tould us that a non smoking room only is possible when available. This is so bad and disgusting. Beds where not comfortable. room with Lagune view is overhyped. You can see it in the distance but most of the view is a parking lot. I was very excited for our stay at Pullman but it was a very big dissappointment and we will never come back again.
Breakfast was mostly the same but good. Good bathroom. Restaurants and markets nearby.

United KingdomI dont think pullman sharjah is a 5 star hotel. It seems more like a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was very small only one square area for the buffet. Rooms were tidy but not immaculate and not upto 5 star standards. Bath and walk in shower had mouldy silicone. The rain shower would change from very hot water to cold then back to very hot. So was hard to enjoy a nice shower. Also not one hook inside the bathroom to hang your clean clothes after your shower. Not even behind the door where it usually is supposed to be. Average amenities nothing special. 1 toothbrush 1 cotton buds 1 cotton pads nothing else. No luxury bathroom amenities that I've seen in other 5 star hotels. Kids pool was very tiny. No point taking them there. Kids club hardly had anything inside it. Kids went in for 5 minutes then left. Also lifts are very slow took forever to reach 20th floor. So if pullman sharjah is truly a 5 star hotel they need to improve in the above mentioned points. Also another point to mention is dont bother going early before check in time they will make you sit in the lobby and wait till "your room is ready" which is a lie as the hotel was not fully booked when i went. I had to sit in lobby with my sick infant and 2 young exhausted children till my room " was ready" 2 hours later. Overall my experience at this hotels was good but not great. Definitely no where near any 5 star hotels iv stayed in. I give this hotel 7/10.. I only booked this hotel aa it was showing reviews as 9.6/10 but im starting to think either the reviews are fake or the people that reviewed it have lower standards. Either way its a good hotel but not excellent or luxury. Far from it
