Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesI love the ship, however the location of its birthing is not good - no nice view and looking over a building site- would be better situated in the new Dubai harbour in the Marina Also desperately needs an outside swimming pool - one for adults and one for kids The rooms were very comfortable

United Arab EmiratesOur one-night stay at the Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel was a bit of a mixed experience. On the one hand, the property itself was very impressive. We booked the Captain’s Room with a balcony, and the room was certainly spacious and well-equipped, offering all the amenities we expected. The room was comfortable and stylish, making it a great place to unwind. However, the experience wasn't without its frustrations. Despite booking a room with a balcony, the view from ours was city-facing, not the sea view we were hoping for. When we asked the reception if we could switch to a sea-facing room, we were told there would be an additional charge of 105 dirhams. This felt unfair, especially when a sea-view room was available but not offered to us. To make matters worse, I had specifically requested a sea view at the time of booking, and yet this was not taken into account when we checked in. Another downside was the check-in process. There were very few check-in counters, which led to a wait of up to 40 minutes. This was inconvenient and not the ideal start to our stay. Additionally, trying to get in touch with the reception was frustrating—there were multiple times when we dialed the number 10-12 times before getting any response. While the hotel itself is lovely, these service-related issues detracted from what could have been a perfect stay. If you're considering a stay here, be aware of the potential for added charges for room upgrades and be prepared for possible delays in both check-in and communication with staff.

United KingdomI know Bur Dubai prey well and like it, and Port Rashid is developing fast, but the QE2 is quite a long way from the Marina, Sheikh Zayed Road etc. The Pavilion, on the Quarter Deck, with its wonderful staff, is a perfect place to enjoy a few drinks under the stars.
It is totally unique. I have stayed in this hotel three times, and really love it, but it maybe not be for everyone.

United KingdomWe felt since our last stay, a few years ago, that it had not really been enhanced in any way. Much of the ship is not open & the pool is not welcoming at all. Such a shame this wasn’t left as an outdoor pool. The breakfast was a disappointment, so much so that we cancelled our dinner reservation and went outside into Dubai. We lived in Dubai for 15 years and came regularly for brunch, concerts, theatre, stays and it was fabulous. It really had some life to it. This visit felt very sad as if no-one really cares about her anymore.
We love the QE2 because it is a piece of our English Royal History & have stayed and dined on several occasions since it’s been in Dubai.
