United KingdomThere was a very bad odour when we walked in the room which progressively got worse, I’m not sure if this was due to lack of cleaning or old pipes/tubes. We called room service and they agreed there was a bad smell in the room, & sprayed the room with air freshener lol. Due to the UFC, the hotel was fully booked and we could not change rooms.. it was a uncomfortable smelly night to say the least.
Location was great a nice walk to the Etihad arena, good breakfast selection, check in smooth.

United KingdomThe quality of food was questionable to say the least for a hotel of this quality. For the first time in probably 10 years I sent a dish back (Nasi Goreng with chicken satay) and at breakfast time there were regularly queues to be able to access. We ended up eating breakfast and meals elsewhere when we had the opportunity (very good at Yas Links golf club). Also, if travelling with children please note that you are limited to one pool only (there is a lack of shade and is a simple pool).
The room was spacious with a view of the marina, there was a bath and walk-in shower. You can connect devices to the TV which is also helpful. The bed is large and comfortable. The hotel is in a unique position as it is in the middle of the racetrack (on a Monday and Wednesday evening this is open to the public for cycling (bikes and helmets provided), you just need to register online beforehand. The hotel is also a short taxi ride away from SeaWorld, Ferrari World, WaterWorld and Warner Brothers.

Russialots of people during breakfast (this is due to the size of the hotel), if you come before 8, than it is ok. Price is quite high, especially when there are events nearby
The hotel is great if you have plans in Yas Island, easy to get to the entertainment parks, AD arena etc. Room is spacious, there is everything you might need in it. Breakfast is very good (lots of different varienties including tropical fruits). Nice pool with sun beds. Very approachable and helpful staff

United Arab EmiratesCheck in and out was very busy. even though we were sitting inside, the pool bar staff insisted on serving our drinks in plastic cups, which is never ideal.
Room was massive, with a great view of the track. We booked well in advance, so I guess we got a good deal. Hotel is very contemporary and modern and location for anything on Yas is brilliant.
