Single-person room is not big, but comfortable and has everything one needs, incl. a kettle and a hairdrayer. The view from the balcony is impressive, one can sit there and drink a nice cup of coffee from the coffee machine in the lobby. I was travelling with the dog, and she was welcomed for 9 EUR/night. Check-in and check-out process is super easy and stuff was very helpful and solved my requests.

A beautiful property overlooking the village and with a lovely view of the lake and mountains from the balcony. It was a short walk to the bus stop and to the City Express cable car. A short walk into the town centre. The staff were very welcoming and made me a coffee while answering questions about the local area.

The only minor comments myself and husband had was that the pillows were very large (but that's down to personal preference) and we had a slight mishap when the safe wouldn't open with our passports in, fortunately however the lady on reception / owner was there to help and did an override on the safe and the issue was resolved.

Beautiful little guest house with all the facilities you could need and helpful friendly staff. The location was great, in the middle of two chair lifts, and the guest house had a useful boot room for all skiing equipment. Room was lovely and shared bathroom / shower kept in immaculate condition. We will miss our morning coffee on the balcony looking out over the lake!

Good location close to cityexpress lift. Bread service and drinks available in hotel. Value for money and clean accommodation. Excellent choice of restaurants in Zell am See. Staff at hotel were very welcoming and helpful.

Every afternoon 17 aclock somebody was practising trumpet playing. Hotel is just between two skibus stops. This means little bit walking.

The Haffner guesthouse is absolutely stunning! I had the most wonderful experience, I extended my stay here for 9 days. Absolutely loved everything about the accommodation. It exceeded my expectations from the moment I arrived! The comfort of the bedroom with the Mountain View terrace, the attention to detail of the property and hospitality. Such lovely, kind owners. My stay at the Haffer guesthouse in beautiful Zell em See was the highlight of my 3 week holiday in Austria. Thank you so much for having me. I can’t wait to return next winter!!

The place is what is told in the description. Nice and clean guest house for couple of nights staying. Recently renovated and a lift installed. No breakfast/restaurant/bar but very good facilities for self-serving and a self-service bar in ground floor. Very friendly and helpful host.

The room was a bit dusty on the bedside table and around the bed

The hotel gave us a tranquil room, which I requested, and it had a little balcony, it's lovely that you can stay there just listening to the nature of sound, the lobby has sales of water and beer as beverages, a coffee machine, tea, laundry room, actually everything you need. The staff was very nice and gave us some information about the areas. The location was perfect, a walking distance (abt 5 mins) to reach the bus station, we had a great stay in this lovely hotel.

It’s not that close to train station (although not a big deal) however please take note that if you’re having a luggage with you it might be challenging because it’s located a bit uphill.

The wifi barely reached to our room. It worked fine in the room but as soon as you stepped out onto the balcony, the connection was gone. Adding an extra wifi extender could be an easy fix.

The room was clean and a bit small, but definitely big enough for the two of us. We really liked the location, as the guesthouse is located away from the noisy centre and the nearest road is quiet with relatively little traffic. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast at the nearest hotel, but went to the centre instead, as it's only a short walk away. We rented e-bikes for two days (highly recommended!), so it was great to have a proper bike parking inside the building behind a locked door. There is also power outlets so you can charge your bikes there. We also appreciated the washing machine and tumble dryer. The self-service coffee machine, fridge with wine and soft drinks, and snack cabinet were a nice touch! The staff are only there in the mornings. They were very helpful and friendly. When we checked out they gave us a little jar of homemade apricot jam. Om nom! Overall we really enjoyed our time here!
