Amazing hosts, great breakfast, nice pool. The area is beautiful, it is very easy to walk to the neighbouring town for restaurants/bars and there is also a tram option. The greater area is amazing for hiking, biking and in winter probably also wintersports, we''ll have to try in a couple of months.

There were no instructions about recycling waste, not enough bins in the apartment to do it properly.

If you are looking for accomodation in the area - you can stop. This is the perfect place. Good location, clean and spacious apartments, well equipped kitchen. The pool is great for the children to play after hiking in the mountains. Stubai super card is included for the duration of the stay.

Very nice owner who gives great service. The apartments were very big and just been renovated with different rooms for the kids and the parents. There is a pool and it includes tickets that gives free rides to all cable cars at the area.

Friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. Comfortable, spotless, and well equipped modern apartment. Highly child friendly, with a swimming pool, and a playroom for the young ones. Great view to the valley and surrounding mountains. Conveniently located close to many attractions and scenic spots.

Everything was fantastic. I would recommend Landhaus Birgit.

Excellent location for walking, with many walks starting from the door. The Stubai Super Card was given to us on arrival and enabled us to use all lifts in the area for free and also provided free entrance to the open air swimming pool for 3 hours at a time plus other benefits. The apartments have a lovely indoor swimming pool, which we enjoyed on a regular basis. The owner offers a fresh bread service daily which is very helpful as the nearest bakers is in Fulpmes. There is a supermarket near the train station about 500 metres away. As other guests have noted the apartment is near the top of a steep hill so it is beneficial to have a car for buying food supplies, although not essential. If you are in the Alps for a walking holiday it should be no problem being without a car. The owners were friendly and helpful. Numerous recommendations for short and long hikes were made. This is a beautiful area and we loved being out of the hustle and bustle of a town.

There were no restaurants or shop in easy walking distance of the accommodation. You will need to go to the neighboring village of Fulpmes for these facilities.

I booked two apartments for a group of friends as we were on a ski trip in Austria. The staff at Landhaus Birgit, especially Martin, were very kind and helpful. We travelled from Hungary by train and Martin was always ready to take us to the ski centre (Schlick) or drop us at the station when needed. If you are looking for an place to ski in Austria that is accessible by public transport this is definitely an option. There is a ski rental shop in Telfes where you can collect and drop off kit. We loved that the kitchen in the apartment was well stocked as we cooked for ourselves most evenings and we also loved the pool and sauna, which we always had to ourselves! I would like to return in the summer to hike as the area is very beautiful.

The hosting family was friendly and helpful, but it was sometimes hard to get in touch with them, which is bit inconvenient when planning the day. I think, having some reception hours would benefit both parties. There are also some repairs in order. In the bathroom, it took long time for the shower to get warm. There were power outages in the pool, shutting down the lights. Then various small things such as damaged doors, dismantled terrace fence, or old terrace parasol.

The location of Landhaus Birgit is quite scenic since it provides an overview of the valley and mountains, and is also strategic because the bus and tram station is nearby. The building itself comes with a sauna and pool. The sauna can be regulated to a variety of temperatures and next to it there is possibility of taking cold shower. The apartment kitchen is very well equipped for daily use, there was no problem in storing three days worth of food and preparing variety of meals we would prepare normally at home.
