Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungaryParking is bit of an issue if you are not comfortable paying additional 18€/day. The location is not very quiet or particularly nice - basically a highway intersection. No chance to try sauna as its only opens in the afternoon...
The location of the hotel was perfect for us - very close to harbour district. Hotel room was clean and well equipped, staff was friendly and helpfull. Bed was comfy. We had no breakfast but the dinner was fine.

Czech RepublicOur only complaints are the noise from the motorway, the heat of the bedrooms (in March!), and the soundproofing in the rooms, none of which are the fault of the staff. The rooms are quite hot and the air conditioning was off (and I suspect it might be centrally controlled??), meaning you need to open the window to cool the room down. If you pack earplugs, it's fine. There's also the noise from other rooms, but I think that was more to do with the flooring as the rooms aren't carpeted. Again, earplugs sort this out. That being said, we would stay here again without a doubt.
It's in an ideal location just off the motorway. A 25 minute stroll along the river (it would be lovely in summer - not so much fun in the rain!) takes you to the historical centre of Linz. Plenty of free parking around, although I suspect that depends on the time of year. There's a fabulous large terrace that overlooks the Danube, which would be a great place to sit in warmer weather. The staff at the hotel are SUPERB! Very friendly and super helpful. I cannot fault them. Although we booked a comfort room, which is the cheapest option, there is hot water and a wide selection of tea bags available near reception 24 hours, as well as coffee from 06:30-11:00 - and it's all free. The room itself was large enough (although the bathroom is a bit tight) and has all the amenities you might need. The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was lovely: there's something for everyone and you will not leave hungry. In fact, I doubt you could try everything on offer as the selection is that wide. I personally loved the sausages and the homemade fresh fruit salad.

AustriaThe hotel had no parking, and we had to pay €18 per day for parking. The rooms were divided into two types: those facing the highway and those facing the Danube. Unfortunately, we were given a highway-facing room, which we didn't like because we're sensitive to noise. Upon arrival, there was no bottled water in the room, which was disappointing. The bathroom had no ventilation. The hotel had a bar but no café; when we ordered tea, we had to bring it to our room ourselves. This hotel is not suitable for nature lovers but is a good choice for business trips.
The location was good for accessing tourist attractions. The facilities were good for a four-star hotel.

NetherlandsWe did come only for one night but boy oh boy the room was small. We came with an EV car 85% full, in the morning we were asked to pay additional 30 euro for the charging. I'm used to pay 36.7 euros from 6% to 100% if I knew that's the cost I would not charge the car at all.

AustraliaNothing to dislike
The hotel is perfect for a transit stop if you are travelling between Italy & Germany. It is close to the motorway and has a secure underground garage for €16. The rooms are comfortable with a good bed and excellent hot shower. The restaurant has excellent food and all the staff provided great service. You can also go for a nice walk along the river which is nearby. The hotel is not in the centre of Linz but overall we could not fault it as a great stop.

GermanyBath was not good. If you put two single bath next to each other, it will not create one double bath. I hope hotels stop doing that.
