I knew the place since 2007 and I like it very much. It is nice, clean, large rooms and I had a view to the mountains. In the evenings I could relax in the saunas and swimming pool. Excellent conditions for a holiday.

The food was extremely disappointing. It was closer to youth-hostel quality than a four-star hotel. The staff in the restaurant were not very helpful and had very little English, which caused some communication challenges.

The room was very spacious and had beautiful views of the valley, although the decoration was a bit dated. The ski room and wellness area were the best facilities of the hotel.

Classic-style hotel with comfortable and spacious rooms. Dog friendly. Magnificent breakfast and dinner. The staff were kind and helpful. The management organized a surprise for my birthday at breakfast - a bottle of sparkling wine and a birthday cake. Thank you!

the place was 5 star , lovely room , food was great , cant complain about breakfast , a great place to stay for an holiday , free bus pass to visit local villages ( we arrived late to the hotel and ask if the dinner was still been served , he said sorry we are closed , but i can make you a buffet up a meal , we said thank you , when it came wow loads of meats cheese , bread , pickles ect ect all i have to say made you welcome from day 1 to the last day

I don't understand why only the rooms of the old building overlooking the glacier don't have flowers on the balconies, a special feature of Tirol. Before the pandemic, they existed, but then they disappeared.

I stayed 7 days in room 67. Large, clean room, bathroom equipped with all facilities. I appreciated the team at the restaurant, the exceptional position of the hotel (room with view to the glacier) and the new look of the swimming pool with the furniture and facilities offered (sauna, wellness).

Only minor thing however other aspects made up for it , was that there were no tea coffee facilities in the rooms

The hotel is very tired and run down. The staff a very rude and helpful. The food that’s included in the rate is awful and we were not able to eat it. It’s buffet style and had been sitting out for several hours - so cold and disgusting with flies swarming. Cleaning lady came into the room at 8 am without knocking and reception calling our room and hanging up by accident early morning so no rest and sleep ins possible. Internet is patchy at best but only late at night.

The location was lovely.

We had half board and food was above expectations, no problem to find gluten free options. We had our own table at the restaurant. Staff and waiters are kind and always there to help. The spa was a nice surprise, very clean. The hotel arranged that we could shower after check out. Comfortable beds.

The food, the dinner was one of the worst experiences I had. Do not cater for people with allergy or veganism. Cleaners were unprofessional.

One of the best locations in Hintertux, friendly and responsive staff, excellent spa center and very, very good food. We will definitely come back. Congratulations to the Kirchler family!

None of those are critical for me but still worth mentioning to other fellow travellers: - I kinda wish real porridge was available in the morning and not just cereals. - The hotel isn't perfectly sound-proof so you will hear your neighbours if they're loud ones as well as you will likely hear noises from the street if you window/balcony is facing it.

It's an amazing hotel and a great value for money if you add up all services it provides: - The food was delicious and pre-dinner meals were super helpful so you don't have to starve until dinner after skiing all day. - The spa facilities are top notch and the swimming pool is just the right temperature to swim in - I was a bit worried it would be too warm because of the hotel name. Keep in mind when reading some old negative reviews that the spa area was renovated. The location is so good you can literally ski to the hotel (the route is called "1", don't mistake it with "1a" which will take you back to the cable cars. Also bear in mind it's not an easy route). - Super helpful staff, huge ski-room, bus station around the corner.

Unfortunately the dinner was not 4 stars! The soups tasted like they came from the bag and were extremely salty. Dinner entrees were just not made by a real cook. Maybe he had quit and we just caught the worst time. The bread was from a local bakery and it was delicious!

Nice and helpful staff. Excellent, varied breakfasts, great milk from cows kept not far from the hotel, the possibility to make your own freshly squeezed juices from fruits and vegetables. For gluttons, afternoon snacks with one-pot dishes, fruits, fresh pastries and coffee. Excellent dinners a la carte or on some days in the form of thematic buffets. I stay at Kirchler Hotel every time I visit Hintertux, and I have been arriving here for 20 years. The upside is that most of the staff have been here so long that every time I come back I'm welcomed in a family atmosphere. The charming owner, Frau Gertrude, is history :-( Every evening during dinner she stopped at almost every table to exchange a few words with the guests. Currently, the hotel is run by her family. Of course, there are more modern hotels in the immediate area, but if If you want to swim in a pool fed with water from a nearby thermal spring and get to know the true Tyrolean style in both interior design and cuisine - I recommend this place as the best.

The bar/pub trance music, which should have been great for a disco but not a bar/pub. The bartender was rather grumpy and not really a pleasure to be around at the bar.

Great location, the skibus is just in front of the hotel. The spa was amazing. The meal for perfect. We spent there Christmas Eve and the dinner was fabulous. All the staff was extremely helpfull.
