The room was poorly appointed for the price. Things didn’t work. The fridge went off when you left the room. The fruit in the room when we arrived was rotten. My booking indicated they would charge 1.5 % credit card fee but they charged 2% when I raised it they said the booking company had the wrong information. The booking also indicated a mini bar but they did not have one in the room. The tv didn’t work as it should but they couldn’t fix it. The computer system made keeping track of room charges very difficult. Waste food and dishes were left next to the central lift for days. When I mentioned it to the front desk it was removed immediately .

Location. Right near city and sea side. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area and pool were very nicely presented. The restraunt food was very good.

Lack of attention to details in room. Faulty AC kettle and hairdryer. Vomit stain on carpet. Very little offered for GF diet. Hot food sitting in bread in Bain Marie at breakfast. No gf bread etc on buffet Pool area needs updating. Uneven tiles trip hazards

The only issue was one of the lifts wasn’t working for 3 days so the other one was working over time and took so long, we even used the emergency exit stairs.

Very old and tired room that smelt. Insufficient staff to cope with guest numbers, particularly in F&B. Room we were allocated was clearly not for us as amenity in room for a different guest. Hotel attempted to take payment from credit card unauthorised numerous times that resulted in my card being blocked and situation still not rectified. This affected all linked accounts which meant my husband couldn’t use his card either.

The rooms are old, very old.... Bathroom was decent 👌. The double beds are suitable for kids not two adults.

The staff were lovely, attentive and focused on making our visit an enjoyable one.

Terrible room location. It overlooked a generator/boiler which was noisey. Also early morning truck delivery/pick up also noisey with truck backing out noise, and room opposite was guest laundry, also noisey from time to time including early morning. Recommend this room is unsuitable for paying guests!

It was pretty darn good. Probably the best in Darwin.

Staff were fantastic throughout check-in. Lobby was stylish and coffee good. Room upbeat and fresh. Staff even arranged for a suit jacket I left behind to be returned.

The room was very large and comfortable. I last stayed here 30 years ago but they have obviously upgraded the rooms and the property in general. The staff were very efficient and helpful. Overall fantastic value.

Bain Marie food is always hard to keep hot. Food was just warm. More variety with cereals, celery for juicer was brown and curled at the ends.

All of it was wonderful. Even as we had a hiccup with our keycards not working properly, the staff were patient and very kind about everything. Ten out of ten.

everything was lovely, friendly accomodating staff, the foyer was clean and smelled really nice, all the areas were lovely,fresh,crisp, clean,all the staff were amazing, I booked my daughter and her partner in here for Bass in the Grass Festival and even though they are only young(18), they were not made to feel like kids or treated less than adults, they loved all of the hotel, the breakfast was a highlight, the pancake machine was a favourite..:-), this is a really nice clean refurbished family hotel, the pool area is nice,and its so close to everything, easy walk everywhere, thank you so much and will recommend to all of our friends for a lazy weekend or a work trip..
