Rooms are very dated and the bathroom is not user friendly especially for older people or kids. Should have been warning about this.

Room does not have a dishwasher or full-sized fridge. Mini-bar only & the freezer didn't work for ice. Room layout, colours and furnishings not to my liking. Indoor pool needs a good clean.

The room we booked was not the one we were given, when I asked about this we were told we could be moved but at an extra cost!!! We should have been put in the room we had booked!!!!

We were so impressed with the Mantra and had a wonderful stay. I took my parents who could not believe how clean it was and well maintained. The location was exceptional and the rooms were incredibly spacious.

Mould in bathroom ceiling above shower, not enough ventilation in the bathroom, bathroom/shower was dirty, air conditioner would only work on 20 degrees & at night was rather cold inside room

I’m from Mooloolaba and was back recently to attend a friend’s wedding and was pretty disappointed to see how run down this property has become. From the outside and even the lobby it looks reasonably nice however for the price point (particularly in off season Winter) it does not deliver. Rooms are in dire need of a refurbishment, with the furnishings and decor looking extremely outdated. Beds are very lumpy and no proper duvet on the bed, just a top sheet and a brown blanket with questionable stained undersides. The body wash dispenser attached to the shower even fell off the wall overnight. No room service or in room dining, the property is more accurately a motel. For upwards of $750 for two nights, you can expect 4.5-5 star facilities in most other cities.

Staff were friendly on check in and out. Location is obviously central and convenient.

The location of the Mantra is superb with easy access to the beach, shopping and coffee shops. My apartment was more than what I expected and the view superb.

The floor had stains need a good clean, the wall was falling to bits around the spa bath, the lounge was a very uncomfortable bed to sit on, the Tv only had limited channels to watch, the water was shut off on the second day so we had to go out all day. The cupboard under the sink was fall apart. The reception when first arrived continued to talk to his staff person and then came over to us and said what can i do for you very rude approach. The girl the next day when asked about the water said we could not flush or use the toilet either so we went out all day. No one was interested in doing anything to fix anything. Still waiting for a refund of $209.00 8 days later.
