  “Really beautiful room and setting. Lovely and relaxing. The host was very welcoming and brought us a little takeaway breakfast feast and flask of coffee for the morning as we couldn’t stay for breakfast… one thing to note… the open plan bathroom/toilet bedroom situation was a little odd for us, we made it work but this may not be for everyone.”

  “Lovely house in a gorgeous location - it would be superb in the summer to have meals on the terrace with the views over the countryside but was still lovely in the winter with stunning sun rises/sun sets. Well stocked kitchen with welcoming hosts and friendly cat, lovely comfortable beds and soft towels. Good, safe parking and not too far from the main roads. Ypres is lovely - with plenty of non-WW1 things to do if that is not your thing. House and area well worth a visit and less than an hour from Calais.”

  “Attentive hosts, lovely breakfast and provided gluten free bread for one of our party who had a gluten intolerance. Homemade yogurt too. Our daughter loved going up the windy staircase to her own room decorated with space and Disney themes. Nice to have choice of bath and shower in the room too. Large comfy double bed.”

  “Beautiful property and comfy rooms. Parking was great and they welcomed our Dalmation. The beds are comfortable and the tv I could log in with my Netflix account with no problem. Breakfast was good.”

  “Spacious location fully equipped for a 12 person family gathering (kitchen has all necessities to prepare a dinner / nice touch with a proper bar in the living room and very spacious rooms. Well located in Stavele close to walks along the isoleer river / to hof van Commerce We were lucky with the sunny weather mid October, but even without the place would have been big enough to have a pleasant stay”
