Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Reception staff were a little cold, poorly painted area in bedroom and unsecure toilet flush not what you expect in a four star

There was somewhere close to the location that has parties on the weekends and music is ridiculously loud. I was staying at the highest floors and it still bothered me. Not the hotel's fault, but it definitely bothered me.
Superb breakfast! There are small markets around, so it's easy to grab snacks. In case it gets late at night, they have their own little market at the cafeteria, which is very useful. Room service was also great and fast

The breakfast could've been better, specially compared to other Brazilian hotels. Brazilian hotels are famous for their breakfasts and this one looked like an American motel breakfast.
I liked everything, the room, the shower, most of the staff (just the hotel porter - mensageiro) that didn't take my luggage upstairs nor he offered to do it, and when I asked him for utensils/silverware she said I'd have to go downstairs that bothered me a little.

Our room is by the road and quite noisy due to traffics and music from the local restaurants / night clubs. One of the lift was broken during our stay which was inconvenient.
Sooz hotel is in a good location with easy access to tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping. The train station is within few minutes walking distance and the street is frequent by public transport. Good selection of buffet breakfast which included hot meals, cold meals and vegetarian options. The room was reasonable size and comfortable bed.

Wifi was really bad for us, we did ask reception about it several times and had contradicting answers, but otherwise we had a lovely stay!

The noise from the hallway and the restrooms share vents. I literally thought someone was taking a shower in my restroom but it happened to be coming from next door

The hotel is nice, the area has easy access to all city. Staff is kind and facilities are very good. Breakfast also nice. Valet parking also very efficient.

As it is a renovated building that sit in a centered place the "old" windows do not help much with the exterior noice. It there would be acoustic isolation on windows would be great
The location is simple great. I do like room that have some space as well. I generally get te street side what gives you the small park view

The hot water could have been hotter — it fluctuated a bit during our stay
All the staff was very friendly and helpful - from the desk personnel to the waiters and cleaning staff. The rooms are simple, but clean and perfectly equipped. The breakfast area was terrific!
