I believe the hotel should review some policies for customers arriving after regular working hours. The night staff could use more support from managers or have more autonomy for decision making in specific situations. We didn’t receive basic information on our arrival, for example the breakfast hours or WiFi password, however this didn’t spoiled our stay, we had a great time and were looked after all the time. The shower in the room could be stronger.

We got the room with the private pool and it was nice, the pool has a beach view so it was very relaxing. The size of the room was great, the air conditioning was really good as well. The common areas were also good, although I missed to have more pool chairs for sunbathing. The room cleaning was impeccable!

I wished our balcony door had a lock

The hotel is so pretty! Very comfortable and great location! We stayed in one of the bottom rooms, and honestly, we couldn't have picked a better room. The breakfast was delicious! And the staff was so friendly and nice!!! the breakfast waiters and the afternoon bartender were the best!!! Loved this place!

The beach is ok, not the nicest one(kind of dirty around). Air conditioner in my room was not working properly, pillows not good in my opinion.

The 7 course dinner degustation option offered by the restaurant could be more elaborate by the Chef simply by sticking to local ingredients, and not trying to use Lamb, for example, which has nothing to do with the region, and is not locally available.

Some furniture looks broken. You can see paint on all the switchers and mirrors. Locker in gym room inverted - you can come in but can’t go out without your key. Some corners are full of dust. Quality of served dinner could be better.

Poor. Leakage in the corridor, always wet and nobody cleaned up. Poor breakfast, awful bread. Nothing fresh. Restaurant is dark and outdated.

Very loud, intrusive music all day long and well into the night. If what you want is a relaxing, peaceful holiday, nature, the sound of waves or birds the place is NOT for you. It is impossible to escape the rather dreadful pop music even if you tightly close all doors /windows in your apartment. Sadly, multiple requests to put the volume down at least a bit, have not produced any noticeable result. The opinion that guests reserving rooms on booking.com often get the worst rooms proved right in the Essenza. The I was first checked into was located just behind the kitchen. On top of the loud music came banging of pots and pans, juice extractor working, staff shouting to each other. Only after I complained I was offered another room, away from the kitchen. On the day before my departure I asked if I could check out a bit later - 1345 instead of 1200. I was told I could stay but only till 1330. Why the extra 15 minutes would make such a difference in a hotel where a lot of rooms seemed empty, is beyond me. And my electronic key was blocked at 1200, anyway.

rooms need renovation. the sofá-bad was terrible and very small. it does not work for adults. the sheets and pillows had a terrible smell.

My room was near the kitchen, so I woke up and went to bed with the kitchen and cutlery sound every single day/night. Plastic mattress protector is used which made me wake up every night sweating away. I had my sun chair moved behind a tree while I was away .The property is completely outdated with parts of the room's furniture damaged.

Service is good , having a private swimming pool, breakfast, good quantity of towels in the room and they were replaced twice a day, excellent coffee machine in the room, there was always a delicious sweet in the room in the end of the day.

The „pools“ on the balcony are weird. They are not very inviting and I am not sire how thry would keep them hygienic. The personal does not speak English which makes communication very difficult. My friends were staying in another hotel but were not granted access to the premises, which is also very strange as the beach and restaurant of the hotel were empty during my stay.

The hotel has a nice location and the reception area is very beautiful.

Almost no one speaks English in this place. None of the restaurant staff speaks any English whatsoever. The hotel is supposed to have a very good view and location, the beach is right in front of it. However this is the only beach in Jericoacoara what has a large muddy stretch between the hotel and the water. Rather annoying, as you can't just walk and swim in the water.

The hotel has a nice idea with the private pools in front of every second floor room.

Food isn't great, and the constant loud music by the pool is extremely annoying. One wants to enjoy a quiet time at rhe beach with the sound of the waves but the music unfortunately interferes.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel, the staff is super nice.
