We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

BrazilWas not a problem for me, but this is a downtown hotel. If your plan is to go to any beaches, this is not a good choice.
There's no luxury, but the three things I consider essential in a hotel are present: good shower, good bed and clean. In addition, there's a 24h bar, the staff is very friendly, breakfast is good and there is a valet service available if you are driving. It is also a 20-minute drive to the airport.

BrazilThe rooms are noisy. They have a central air conditioning system that produces a background noise that is quite annoying and does not go away when the air conditioning is shut off in the room. I was on one of the top floors and the noise would certainly disturb my sleep, so I asked to change rooms and I was put in a lower floor and it was better.
The place is in a nice neighborhood with cafés and restaurants a few minutes walking. The hotel is new and clean and the staff very nice and helpful. The breakfast is ok.

It's a great location in downtown Florianopolis. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had to leave early in the morning before the breakfast hour, and they could make me a special coffee and snack.
