We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

BrazilThe photos of the bedroom on the website aren’t updated so beware. The bathroom is very dirty with mold on the roof and black spots in the marble of the shower 🚿! The bathroom’s door has water damage and it’s very dangerous due to splinters! There aren’t sufficient lights in the room. We had to ask them to change several bulbs 💡. Additionally the walls and furniture need restoration.

I came back on the first day to find my room door open, nothing was amiss, but this posed big security risks for me. The decoration in the room needing improving, the wall paper was peeling off the wall in the lounge/kitchen area
Breakfast was good, as was comfort in room. Position was excellent.

The hotel photos also don’t match to the three apartments that my family occupied. We have to ask to the staff to change 3 bulbs 💡 lamps. There was no water at the sink of the bar. The bathroom tap was water leak.

Italythe room was not clean enough, there was dust all over, the smart tv did not have Netflix or YouTube connection. so few channels were available. I had to ask to change the towels and throw away the rubbish as the cleaner just fixed the bed in a superficial way. not even a free bottle of water in a place where you’d need it to brush your teeth - I had to pay for the one I took - 10 reais. the plugs were not ok for the brasil adapters.
the manager was friendly and helpful but the only one able to speak English. the breakfast was excellent.

The Hotel and the staff are not what one expects for that price. The rooms are not what is shown at Booking .com. The showers are dirty , the cleaning is insufficient. The staff cannot communicate with English speaking Guests because not one person spoke English . I am sorry , that I made this choice, but Booking . com recommended it . I will never recommend or return to this Hotel. Also I was overcharged by your Taxi service on the return trip to the airport.
