The owner is very kind. She wait us even we back later evening. Provider fruits and side food for free. She chat with us like a family. It’s location in edge of city, for hiking in nearby mountain is perfect

There was nothing we did not like. (We could not get the TV to work but we did not mind. Emily's husband, who could fix it, was out of the country. The shared bathroom was not a problem)

We prepared our breakfast but Emily, the hostess, constantly prepared something extra or got something extra from her garden. She is a very warm person and looked after us. The house was spotless. She was constantly working in or around.

This accommodation is close to sky train and easily accessible by car. It is very clean and quiet.

It was all very good. Just a few suggestions: Since the kitchen was shared with the host and they were sitting there most of the times, I wish there were a few glasses/mugs, an electric kettle and tea bags inside the room so the guests wouldn’t interfere with the host cooking in the kitchen. Also, the quiet hours were until 9am, which is a bit late. I think it’s more convenient for guests to have quiet hours until at most 8am.

It was very clean and the host was very kind and welcoming. She made us some baked sweet potatoes, and let us use their fridge and freezer to store a few items.

We were in town mostly for attractions downtown, and it’s a bit of a drive to Vancouver. There are outdoor activities closer to this that we might look into next time. We also only speak English and had to do a bit of translating to communicate sometimes, but the host put in every effort to make sure we understood each other and it was actually kind of fun to work with each other this way! In the end we were able to communicate just fine and the process was pretty easy and enjoyable.

Super friendly and welcoming home and family! We were treated so kindly and made to feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived until we left. The house is beautiful and the room we stayed in was very clean. It is a nice neighbourhood and seemed very safe to park overnight or take a walk around.

House smelled quite bad from some cooked food. Bed was very hard and pillow so thin as to be useless and I slept without a top sheet so slept under a comforter which I’m sure wasn’t washed with every new visitor. No TV in room. Bathroom had a small container labeled “Lost Hair” - wtf?

Host was very nice and helpful. Location was close to where I needed to be.

The property can't be approved for 3 people. The room size ( 15 square metres) is less than the standard Australian prison cell. It is impossible to share one bathroom with 3 rooms . For 240 AUD per night it is not fair to accommodate people
