Nice location for those who need to be close to the airport It has a mall with restaurants and bars, supermarket at 5 minutes walking from the house. Lovely hosts, very helpful and nice. Safe neighborhood, also at night.

The room was a little small, especially as it was designated for up to four people. Breakfast offerings were limited.

Room on small side and en-suite a room next to bedroom so had to go out and then into. Nightlights good so you could visually find way during night Not an issue for us but no escalator, but winding staircase some may find difficult to get their bags up.

Quiet neighbourhood making for good sleep, comfy bed Informative and interested host Walking distance to find dinner/food, great food and service at local Pub Communal tea/coffee room. If summertime would be nice to sit out on deck for breakfast

Great guest house in quiet area of Richmond near the airport. Helpful host who also does airport transfers. Very clean home. Self service hot drinks, breakfast cereal and fresh fruit can be made in the guest lounge which overlooks the garden

Have just had a very good stay in one Carl's guest rooms above the family home. We had the queen suite which also has a big walk in closet / dressing room and large bathroom with bath and shower .The guest breakfast room has a sofa to sit and enjoy a view of the garden and colourful pots on the deck. A few items are available for guests to make breakfast tea, coffee, cereal ,milk and fresh fruit. One or two items may be stored in the small fridge and there is a microwave but no sink or facilities for making meals. Carl also does airport pickups and can also if needed take guests to local places of interest. The area is in a quiet Richmond suburb within 8 minutes walk from a mall with a range of shops and eateries Cash for a damage deposit is required when checking in

Very spacious room, clean and comfortable beds, friendly owner, easy parking out front. Nice guesthouse to stay in at a better value than other bnbs in the area.

Owner arranged our transport to the airport. Which made the last leg of our journey stress less.

It's in a suburb and not in a city. For us it was perfect for one night before we head out to the airport. No credit card only cash.

We had to take our shoes off & leave them in the downstairs cupboard, and put slippers on before walking upstairs. The TV was not easy to operate, as there was no manual, but the host did come and help us to operate it, when we asked. I had made the bed before we left, and afterwards he came up to inspect the room before we left, and he quickly stripped the bed down in front of me, which took me by surprise.

They had a lovely home, reasonably close to local shops. Breakfast was basically cereal & a piece a fruit. Tea/coffee & water was provided. He kindly drove us to the airport, which cost 30 Canadian dollars. A quiet & nice location in Richmond, near the Vancouver Airport, & nearby shops, & eateries.

It's a residential area, so it's very hard to take public transportation.

The room was very clean, Carl is a very good hoster, very nice and avaliable. It's perfect for one night around the airport.

Nothing. Would have been great if there was an iron and ironing board in the closet for use.

Kind hospitality shown by the friendly owner who helped us with our luggage up the stairs. Spacious room and toilet. The room and common areas were clean and tidy. We appreciated the hair dryer in the room, bananas and bottled water, and the availability of a paid shuttle to and fro airport.
