AustraliaTraffic noise ... being in a suite that faced the corner there was a little traffic noise if we had the window open at busy times early in the morning. Also not so private when sitting on the porch, but hey very nice inside the room. Working out the TV operation was challenging, instructions not seen anywhere on remotes ?
Location was good, loved the back garden & deer that visited, also & restaurant downstairs was fabulous ! Also loved the table across the street, so nice for sunsets. Also cliff walking trail was good.

CanadaIt was a long walk to the beach which the photos implied were closer to the property. The staff were friendly but hard to get hold of. A car is necessary to visit the village. I had thought breakfast would be available and I was wrong
The view was incomparable. The suite was beautiful and very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent. Lovely location with gorgeous seaside walks. There was a huge TV which I didn't watch but some people would love it. There was a lovely balcony with a view of the ocean

CanadaThe tv opened three times in the middle of the night!!! To eliminate the problem at 3:00am… we unplugged the tv. Next morning we informed the reception desk…. The answer was: they were sorry… the tv control is shared with other rooms… so if someone open his tv at 2 o’clock at night it opens in the other rooms!!!
The dinner at the restaurant was wonderful!!

CanadaThe room was scorching hot when we checked in. +31 in the room when the outdoor temperature was only +23. We did the cool the room off eventually with the windows wide open and fan going constantly. Also, our room would not be good for mobility challenged guests as there are lots of stairs and two stories of stairs are outside (might not be fun in the rain!).
A beautiful old house just across from the ocean just outside of Gibsons. We stayed in one of the third floor penthouse suites, which are large, airy and very comfortable with a tiny deck and view of the sea across the road (access is on private property though, but there are other paths to access the water). Restaurant on site is open for dinner for the latter part of the week.

CanadaThere was no possibility to have breakfast or lunch at the lodge. It was complicated without car so it is not for those who don't like long walking. Bus is close, like 1.5 km, but it is up the hill. Dinner was delicious, but we were waiting 50 minutes to get it. But it was worth it 😊

CanadaFurniture was a bit dated and the rug and couch were positioned on a slant, which made the room look messy even though it was very clean. Bed mattress not very comfortable. Felt like an old, springy mattress that had a topper on it and I didn’t have the best sleep.

Beautiful location right on the beach with a third floor balcony overlooking the water. Walking distance to a beach side park area. Well appointed room with everything we needed for our comfort and enjoyment!
