When I tried to find out whether I needed to bring a towel it wasn't clear until I got the check in email. I brought a towel just in case but that took up space in my luggage I could have used for other things. It would be nice if there were some basics to access for cooking (ex. Salt, pepper, sugar). When there are lots of people in the kitchen it can get a bit awkward getting around but it's a great gathering space.

Access to a kitchen with refrigeration and special boxes for your own food. Multiple washrooms for all genders to use. The dorms are a good size and have lockers to keep your stuff secure. It felt like a safe and friendly environment. I loved the board with restaurant recommendations and the hike suggestions with their time and distance to complete. It was a great place to make new friends in or do your own thing.

Depending how rowdy it gets downstairs it can be a bit loud, especially with construction too. But overall not too much noise!

Good location, even getting a private room was very reasonably priced. Staff was very helpful, especially when I needed a refund for the last night when I had to leave Canmore early. Clean and relatively quiet. Parkade access for vehicles is nice, also options for bike/equipment storage (didn't use the latter but a nice option to have).

The location was perfect and you don't need to drive anywhere. There was convenient and ample parking as well. The community kitchen was very clean, modern and incredibly well equipped. The views from every window were spectacular.

This is the perfect hostel in Canmore with free parking and close to everything. You can request an all women dorm with a bathroom and shower. You can have breakfast in the lounge with amazing moutain views.

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The weather was playing havoc the weekend I was to stay and I really appreciated the extra telephone/email support and information offered by the reception staff as it helped me make the decision to follow through with my plans to make the trip (and I was really glad I did). On top of the warm, clean and welcoming hostel environment, the option to park my car overnight in the nearby heated parkade, out of the falling snow and cold temperatures, was a much appreciated bonus. It made getting off to my next destination so much easier the next morning. It has been a long while since I last stayed at a hostel and I was pleasantly surprised and really impressed how modern and well-kept it was. The 4-bunk dorm room was lovely with bunks that provided privacy curtains, reading lights and technology plug-ins, small closets and its own toilet/sink and shower rooms. All fellow travellers I interacted with there behaved in a very respectful manner and added to the pleasure of my overnight experience. Perfect!
