There isn't much activities in the hostel itself. You'd need to go to a bar nearby for a drink. A liquor store is a few steps away though and the common area is cozy. The location of the hostel is pretty prime for Canmore, but if you're looking for classic Banff attractions you'd need to take 20-25 minutes bus (every 30-35 minutes) right from the hostel. nonetheless it's better to stay here and to this short transit daily than stay in Banff's hostels and overpay for lower quality space.

The hostel in a new building and all the rooms and facilities are new and shiny. The rooms are for 8 people, but they are nicely ventilated and have full privacy curtains. The kitchen is nice and new, the common area is very comfy and has many board games and a fantastic view.

The staff was so friendly and helpful! They were able to answer all of our hiking questions and helped us get off the beaten path. The dorms were so comfortable and the kitchen was one of the most well equipped I've ever seen in a hostel.

It was a beautiful places just in the middle of downtown, you can go everywhere just walking. The best part there is an On it and roam bus stop just next to the hostel and that was amazing

Very comfortable beds with curtains which cteate private space, quiet, clean. Electricial outletsnear each bed and privat shelve and locker. Clean linens and towels ☘ Always clean washrooms and showers with hot water.☘ enough space for everyone! Big comfartable and clean kitchen with all neccessary equipments and dishes. Very cozy hall with amazing view at mountains 😍 people are chatting there in tge evening, enjoying coffee in the morning 😊 Very kind friendly alwsas happy and smiling staff - girls you all are amazing! We feel that you love your job and love your guests 😍 1 minute to bus station to catch bus to Banff (20 min to Banff Downtown). Close to stores and cafes and to Banff city center. When I stay in Canmore I will stay here for sure! Thsnk you! 💖💖💖

The rooms have a great set up with curtains so even in an 8 man dorm you have privacy. Place looks small on the outside but is huge on inside. Would recommend, Canmore is lovely too

We had a private room and bathroom which was great for us, but starting early in the AM, there was a lot of noise in the hostel. Not the hostels fault at all, and would recommend and stay again but if you're looking to sleep in, might not be best spot.

Love this location in Canmore, the staff was wonderful, we had netflix on TV which was nice!

It was the first time that my parents were in a Hostel but they had a good impression. Although the private room with a private bathroom I reserved for us (4 people) was really small, it was clean and comfortable. The receptionists were really friendly. The shared spaces such as the Kitchen were great.
