Good economical option offered right outside of Banff National Park. Everything here is expensive, of course, so the Hostel was the way to go.

Again so filthy and dirty. I felt so disgusting leaving I rushed back to Calgary to shower in our new hotel there. So not worth the money. It doesn’t even matter that the location is good, I mean it’s just so disgusting you should never stay here.

Absolutely nothing the place was genuinely disgusting. It was so unclean, the sheets are all stained and dirty as per photos below. The bathroom shower curtains and all stained yellow. It’s the dirtiest property I have ever stayed in.

A little noisy overnight.

Private room felt very secure and was nicely laid out with a comfortable bed and all the amenities. Bathroom was very close and only for the private rooms so was never busy and was always clean. Location was excellent and right in the middle of town. A few spots for parking but there is free road parking less than a 5 minute walk away.

Location, just brilliant, right in the centre of Canmore. Hostel was great and the owner so helpful. Car parking space was an absolutel gift given the cost of parking in the town.

The entire room was on a significant slant that posed quite the risk to your fellow traveller whilst they were inebriated and on their way to the loo in the early witching hours. What's up with that, sir?

The bathroom was extremely humid. A little ventilation/fan would help a lot. I happened to go during a heatwave, so it was a very hot night’s sleep with a very small fan and no AC. The weather isn’t the property’s fault, of course.

The property had a great location and price compared to other places in the area. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Unclean, smelly, dusty under bed and behind fridge, dirty vent, window and fan, depressing view, skirting fell off wall exposing wires and sharp pipes, constant generator noise, unpleasant and unclean showers, lack of privacy, when using shower and toilet. Room was very small with zero surface space or storage.

Room 10 was sweltering. I couldn't sleep due to the heat, until I finally got an icepack from the freezer. I moved to bed 2 with a window, and combining an open window with a fan did help, but I think only 2 beds in that dorm (room 10) had access to a window. Also no screen on the window, but fortunately the bugs weren't an issue. Kitchen was smelly (dish scrubbers smelled musty, tea towels were dirty, tables were crumby and greasy). Fridges were disorganized and overcrowded. Some bathroom stalls didn't have toilet paper hangers. Very limited parking.

Apologies but me and my friend booked 2 rooms and were separated which its okay sinc ewe will only use almost 2 hrs.checked in was 11 pm and we are planning to leave by 2am. The reservation line was prompt to respond but pleqss try to fix the Rooms as its too hot that could suffocate us. My friend ended sleeping at the ground floor receiving area which we paid fullfor both rooms but one room was not fully utilized abd no refund was given. I HAVE MESSAGEd that night itself but no repky.

I had a really bad experience with this hotel. If you need a good sleep after or before your enjoyment of Banff, please stay far far away from this hotel. This hotel has a pub on the ground level, our room is just above it on the second level. The music is too too loud and someone was singing all the time. We couldn't sleep. Music was not stopped until 2am. Imagining how bad was that, you got tired and exhausted after hiking at Banff, you really need a good sleep for your next day trip, but you could not sleep until 2am because the outrageous loud music. When I booked the hotel, nothing mentioned there is a pub in this hotel and will play music until 2am. If it was mentioned, I would not booked this hotel for sure. And the price is the same with other hotel, why stays here? Also, no breakfast, no hairdryer in the room....

I had a bed bugs bite during my sleep. 20+ hives. I stripped my bed in the morning to make it obvious everything needs washing. People were loudly cleaning dishes at 2am preventing sleep.
