CanadaParking is not guaranteed and you need to call to find out if they have any spots available. They didn’t have any for us so we have to park off site and pull out luggage to the hotel on rough sidewalks. The rooms are dated and show wear. The bathroom door didn’t open properly. The A/C is loud and didn’t cool the room well. We could hear the people in the next room so the sound proofing is not great. We didn’t have a good nights sleep as a result.
The location is central in old Quebec. Easy walking distance to everything within Old Quebec.

This is a fantastic hotel. Great location, big rooms, nice furnishing, good towels, comfortable bed with good linens. The whole package, especially for the area and price point. Mostly, the staff are amazingly polite, friendly, efficient .... we are senior citizens and the staff was just so helpful when we couldn't get TV to work ... it was us ... not TV ... we are not tech savvy. Can't say enough about how well we were treated.

CanadaParking was not clearly explained. Was parking on site but was $24 per night. But we had a larger vehicle so we were told it wouldn't fit in their lot. The staff were helpful in mapping us to a fairly close city lot which was $20 per day(approx. 8 min walk). Just would have been nice to be prepared for this, but not a huge problem.

Hotel Champlain is at a good location at the older Quebec city. The hotel staffs were very helpful and fluent in communicating with English. The hotel room and bathroom was really spacious and clean. The room was cozy and confortable for 2 people and small dog. The location was wonderful. The breakfast cafeteria was closed so you had to order if you wanted a breakfast box for 10$. Instead went out to have breakfast at Paillard french Breakfast Coffee shop it was so good, and not to far from the Hotel, just walk down to Saint-Jean Street.
