Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Certain typical minor room amenities were missing... it seemed they rushed to get the room ready even though we arrived around check in. The a/c fan blows on the bed and can be annoying.

$550.00 for one night at your hotel is outrageous. Booked for a fun night out for my wife and her friends as we have a newborn at home but will not book again due to the insanely steep price.

Coffee in the morning and muffin were not great but did tide you over until you could find a place for breakfast.
Very close to down town as well as the boardwalk. Perfect location for us.

Foot odor smell in room, especially noticeable when you first walk into room. There was also a slight smell down the hallway. Seemed like it was coming from the carpets. We decided not to say anything and just bought some air fresheners which ultimately didn’t help, but you didn’t notice the smell after being in the room for a couple of minutes. We also found the water pressure in the shower was not very strong (although the pressure in the sink was strong).
Location was good. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly. Room was spacious. Bathroom was clean.

Parking was convenient to the hotel but a loading zone for checking in and explaining parking would have been helpful.
Hotel was perfectly located for downtown destinations. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

the restaurant was hard to locate, (we never did) and it’s got a party goer vibe so noisy hallways and streets.
this location is excellent. wonderful things to see, do and eat all around you and great on-site street level parking right at hotel. pool and gym very easy to use. plus a yummy coffee shop across the street.

our room was ok. the mattress on the bed was not very comfortable. there was a big dent and I kept rolling. i complained the next day but nothing was done. also, we were not impressed with the tourist tax. they should of explained this to us upon check in

There was no breakfast, no towels changed next day, no drinking glasses in room. No whirlpool when it said there was by swimming pool.

just that our room was not cleaned the whole time we were there. needed new towels, they were provided but no face cloths. had to go find a maid in the hall for cups etc.

The doors are very loud (or maybe the rooms need a bit of sound proofing). Hearing people coming and going all night long, especially when the loud bangs woke our baby, was quite disappointing.
Loved the downtown location and staff were excellent. So friendly and accommodating.

Rooms need an update. Old faucet in tub, caulking peeling and in some areas, moulding. Parking is pretty much non-existent. Extremely limited spots and very small spaces. Not worth the $25/day.
Location was great. Within walking distance to most attractions, eateries, and pubs.
