Good amenities with a decent restaurant(breakfast discount with your stay), lounge and bar with a beer store on site as well. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were all friendly respectful and helpful. Overall a great value! JP

The website was a bit misleading-it is a motel attached to pub and restaurant. The issue was that I had pets and thought I could gain access to room from outside door. Needed to go through motel to access room.

Could use a reno but that means $$$$$. All was good for the money spent. Too many expensive hotels.

Only thing was location, but it wasn't terrible, it actually probably worked for my benefit for where I had to be on the weekend. And not much you can do about location, but I guess for where it was I was expecting it to be a little sketchy, but it was really good.

It's not a continental breakfast, but it's in the attached restaurant and Frantz Inn gave me a Voucher for at least part of my meal and that was actually really good I thought. I would definitely stay again.

The water in the rooms had a metallic taste.

Convenient location near the highway. Rooms were very basic but comfortable beds, plenty of hot water. I was surprised to find a fridge and microwave in the room. The room was extremely keen. The person who checked us in was friendly and helpful.

One of the waitresses in the restaurant didn't try very hard to be friendly. She was all business. Not a big deal though. I would have preferred to be able to adjust the lighting to be a bit brighter. Also not a big deal.

This is not a high-end hotel, but I was just looking for a comfortable place to stay and it was perfect. The staff were very friendly.

We where not able to have breakfast because there was only 1 waitress for a room full of customers so we had to leave before we were able to be served.

Beds were good. Wonderful bathroom sink drawers.

There was a strange ammonia-like odour in the hallway but not in the rooms; it's a bit of a drive from the TransCanada.

My expectation was of an Austrian Inn with down comforters and cuckoo clocks but the Franz Inn is essentially a Sports bar with rooms attached. Once you get used to the idea that that's where your staying, it's great. Had a drink in the bar... watched some sports on TV, played a few slot games, and had chicken wings. The fact that I was by myself didn't alter the experience at all... a great night and fun. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Didn’t realise it was attached to a nightclub, and even though we were the furthest away room, the bass was easily heard and they didn’t close until 2am.

Room was freezing when I checked in, would have been nice for someone to turn the heat on. Restaurant doesn’t open for breakfast until 9am Sundays, had hoped to get on the road earlier.

The only thing I didn't like, was we were in the back, and around 1am someone in the parking lot played music so loud ; at first I thought the sound of the base, was someone pounding on a door. Both nighs I was awoken to this noise

The staff were well trained, very nice and helpful. The restaurant served very good meals, we stayed 2 days and we ate all our meals there. For Breakfast they gave us coupon for 8 dollars for each person. This was a real nice bonus.
