Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe property had a quaint, unique decor. The owner was so very accommodating. He waited for us with a late check in, baked us wonderful cookies, and presented beautiful breakfast options the next morning.

United KingdomEverything was fine so long as you read what you're booking. If you want modern furniture and a clutter free room, this is not the place for you. Additional shower and red light in bedroom was a surprise!
This was an overnight stop to break up the drive from Ottawa to Quebec so we only wanted a place conveniently close to the highway, and this met our requirements. It was a quirky B&B full of old items - some quite humorous! Breakfast was served in the local cafe run from the premises and set us up for the remainder of our drive.

The Manoir Des Curiosits is a very unique place to stay, with all the curiosities bringing you into a different universe as soon as you step through the door. The breakfast that is included is delicious, which is served in the beautifully decorated cafe downstairs.

United StatesOur room was spacious and well decorated, sheets and duvet were luxurious with a private bath, air conditioner, robes, plus cookies and hot coffee or tea in hallway was a nice addition. Decor was quirky and well thought out with many interesting things to peruse. The deck and outside seating was welcoming. The host was friendly and gracious. The breakfast was well proportioned, tasty, and generous with coffee, toast, homemade strawberry jam and delicious choice of egg, potato, bacon, cheese bowl or egg sandwich. The presentation was attractive and the dark chocolate with coffee a nice addition. Visited Le Garage microbrewery for beer and a bite to eat. Patio lights and music welcomed us warmly upon our return.

CanadaJust a little cold.
The property is amazingly beautiful. Its charm speaks to you immediately upon entering the building. The decor and staging makes you crave for more. We took a closer look at the art work on the walls and around each of the accessible rooms. It was truly an amazing adventure on its own. The breakfast served was DELICIOUS and the service provided was excellent. The only reason why I did not give this a perfect score was that the building was a little cold (need to keep boots on until you cuddle in bed) and that we had to call for service twice due to electrical power outage. The service crew however quickly fixed the issues. The host is remarkably generous with his client services. I would definitely come back to this little intriguing place.

SwitzerlandRecommend to advice customers well in advance that they should expect to receive further instructions on the day of arrival. Since I didn’t expect anything, I was not reading e-mails and missed important check-in information.

CanadaThe coffee shop’s opening hours are very short. We planned on eating there but it was not open during the evening. Similarly, the shop opens « late » in the morning. The breakfast is not served until 8:30 AM which is very late compared to hotels and is not convenient when you have activities planned. The opening hours should be clearly indicated on the website so that guest can plan accordingly.
Loved the building and the room itself. The staff was friendly and gave us a croissant/coffee to go when I told them that we could not stay late enough to enjoy the complimentary breakfast.

The room was clean and well decorated. The hosts were friendly and prepared really yummy breakfast in the morning. If you are traveling with small kids, it might be a bit inconvenient due to the bathroom sharing. But in general, we enjoyed our stay. Super pretty interior and worth a visit if you are looking for a B&B experience in the area.
