Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaPricing for parking was confusing. Sign in garage stated $25 for evening/overnight parking, but when checking in you are charged $45 (which is also stated on website). Although maybe we misinterpreted the posted sign.
No complaints. Room was spotless. Lots of available parking spots in garage (that was a worry of ours). Breakfast was great, your typical Hampton Inn buffet. Hampton Inn always meets our expectations.

ItalyThe quality of the breakfast could definitely be improved, starting with the utensils. Everything, including plates and bowls, was in cardboard and disposable. Condiments like jams, honey (which was not available), or peanut butter were in single-use plastic portions. In 2024, this immense waste production is simply unacceptable! The only positive thing was the porridge
The room was quite spacious. The furniture is simple but it has everything you need. Service was ok.

United StatesBreakfast could be improved. Bacon was greasy and the eggs could be improved. A better selection of pastries would be nice along with nice fresh breads.
Our room was clean. The king bed was comfortable. The bathroom had high quality towels. The view was very nice, and the location was very good. In addition the front desk ladies were friendly and greeted us with a smile and a wave each time we encountered them.

United StatesThe location is quiet, but I would have liked it to be closer to the subway. About 35 min walk to Queen’s Quay. Otherwise all great!
The staff were amazing! Dan and May consistently gave great service. They also recommended that we try a few flavors of chips that are not available in the US - the ketchup chips were terrific! Thanks for the recommendation :-)

SwedenEverything was good except for the lighting in the room. For a young person it is probably ok, but at 60+ you need better lightning.

CanadaI drive a pickup truck we chose this hotel because the underground parking was able to accommodate the height of a standard pick up truck. Most hotels downtown would not.?

CanadaThe decor and the amenities in the room were a little off-putting. I found that the lights should have been easier to use (ie. one switch for main room light). The quality of what was there was adequate, but it felt a little weird. Also, very little noise reduction between rooms. We could easily hear the people next door talking, opening and closing the doors, and using their shower. Pretty unpleasant, but maybe that's standard for hotels these days.
Really enjoyed the breakfast. The quality of the bed was pretty good as well, comfortable.

UkraineIt’s not clear why the cleaning lady told us that our check-out is at 11:30 and said that we have to pay extra for time, although according to Booking it should be at 12:00. The conversation didn't go very well.
Good shower, tasty breakfast, pleasant check-in staff, spacious rooms, comfortable bed.

CanadaThe view in our first room was terrible, actually there was no view at all. Staff did accommodate us for that. The parking garage was very sketchy, ceiling was so extremely low that my trunk almost hit it and part of the ceiling was broken and looked terrible. The night staff was very rude and seemed uninterested in helping us get new keys as we were locked outside because the keys didn't work. The elevator area when you first walk in from the parking garage smelled terrible.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning and a great checkout time. Day staff were great (i think one of them was named Jason) and switched our room as we weren't a fan of the view from the first room (#806). The parking garage was locked and I felt my vehicle was safe while we were out. Close enough to downtown but we do wish there was more around us.

CanadaWe weren’t too pleased when we were told that breakfast was open until 11am and went down for breakfast only to find out that 11am is weekend hours (it’s 10am on weekdays). Simple misunderstanding/miscommunication but was a little annoying since we paid for breakfast for all mornings of our stay.
Value for money. Location was good and staff were very friendly. We arrived very early, almost 6 hours before usual check in but the room was ready so they let us check in which was amazing and very much appreciated. They also gave us late check out on our departing day for no additional charge.

CanadaThough the breakfast choices were numerous, some of the hot items were overcooked and not very warm. It’s also very off-putting to have only flat wooden utensils with which to eat. The fork broke while I was trying to scoop up the food.
The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. When we asked about nearby places to eat, one of the receptionists recommended The Blake House which was a short walk away. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It was nice to have breakfast available at the hotel.
