Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

It was ok. The room was comfortable enough and the front desk staff were excellent. The restaurant food was not very good and the location isn’t great. The hwy on one side and train on the other. And no view. It was cheap enough but the whirlpool was out of order and the pool looked like it had t been cleaned in a while. Probably the most disappointing thing was the food at the restaurant. But the room was clean and updated a bit and overall was fine. Was just disappointed whirlpool wasn’t working and food was poor.

I have been using this hotel for 20 years, and the perks were hot breakfast free and 10% off my suppers. When I come to Cranbrook, it is because I am working, so the breakfast helps the cost. This time, which I normally book online, I didn't get breakfast. That was very disappointing. We did go to the restaurant. We were the only ones there, and we still waited 30 minutes for our food, which came to us cold.

All right recently renovated rooms aside very nice, The lobby lounge and restaurant and the rest of the hotel, including the basement pool and spa area are stuck in the 1970s. Hotel could use major renovation, maybe a lobby coffee set up, which is always nice in most hotels. maybe completely redesigning and taking down walls around the lounge to make the area feel more cohesive . in the basement, where a vinyl lined Pool with no proper entrance and only two exit ladders and a hot tub that was over chlorinated . Big opportunity here lots of room in the basement for a beautiful facility if it were only built.
The rooms appear to have been recently renovated. The beds and the pillows very nice. The bathroom layout with two sinks, and a tub shower,is a bonus. Coffee available in the room and extra items for the coffee available at the front desk just for the asking the room, painted and decorated nicely .

The hot tub was not functioning and we were not made aware of that prior to the visit. The location is a bit far from downtown (when walking).
Rooms are older but clean and well taken care of. The bed is comfy. Included breakfast is excellent for the value of stay.

If you are a light sleeper, the all night traffic noise may be an issue. Train tracks on one side, main highway through town on the other. Ear plugs fix that! Bed was pretty soft, but some people may like that.
Nice big, clean room. Good sized refrigerator and microwave. A fine hot breakfast and coffee was included with our room price. Friendly staff, front desk open after midnight (great for late arrival flights).

The swimming pool needs work. The floor was cracked within. The ladder to get in and out didn’t seem the most secure. The hot tub was excellent! But no option to turn off the jets. The “pool towels” the front desk provided were the same size as a kitchen tea towel. Those weren’t super useful. The lounge was closed (I think for a private function) and the pop machine was broken so we weren’t able to get any bottles of water. And there were none for us in the room.
Beds were very comfortable! Room was basic but had everything we needed, including a microwave.
