There was some reno work happening on the floor above our room.

The included breakfast in the onsite restaurant was very good, as was the staff. We received excellent service from the Reception Day Manager, and loved the Atrium area with its tropical setting!

A bit noisy during the daytime.. understandably with the pool and slides for the kids. No big deal at all!

Great spacious rooms. The king size bed + pillows were very comfy. The room had a small Jacuzzi and a microwave. Parking is available for free.

It was unfortunate that the waterslide was not running as it was family day and they had two lifeguards on duty until the pool closed at 10pm

King suite was spacious but lacking little key items. No shelf or ledge in the shower to put your soap or shampoo on? One small towel hook when you have a jet tub for two and a double shower?

Pool and hot tub were clean and inviting. Good temperature. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is older. It’s had a lot of years under its belt, but it’s still in great shape and serves well as a family destination for weekends.

My children and myself included were very disappointed that the water slide was not open. I have always wanted to take them to the Lamplighter because I enjoyed it so much as a kid. The only disappointment with are stay was the water slide being closed. That and the room only having decaffeinated coffee.

Staff were exceptional. Room overlooking the patio was lovely. Kids had a great time with the pool, amusements etc. Restaurant and bar were also excellent.

Guess that we’re staying there were rude, loud, disrespectful, running up and down the halls and knocking on doors at 11:30 PM. Perhaps hotel could create varied floors for different events.

We had no complaints with our stay. The hotel is very large though so there is a lot of walking.

I was working so I did not get the opportunity to use the pool. but the guests - young and old, sure seemed to be having fun every time I walked by. Beautiful pool area and everything was festively decorated. The staff were exceptional - happy and excellent customer service. The property is clean and maintained. We loved the robot server that they use in the restaurant when kids were at the table. It even plays music. Both the restaurant and the bar have excellent service and the food was good. There were lots of options close by for dining.

There’s only one restaurant I paid for bed with breakfast and the breakfast was only one item

Nice pool but there’s one restaurant that close early. The supervisor at the reception was rude with her colleagues while he was trying to help. The hotel is too pricey

The pool was very dirty and atrium area littered with garbage, room not entirely clean, restaurant had subpar food with high prices and tolerable service.

Convenient location, pool was enjoyable, room was comfortable. Great getaway for a family.

Am bw member, mistakenly I tried booking thru .com talked with California and had troubles booking, gave up booking directly with Best Western and booked thru bookings.com. hospital rate not applied very expensive for my stay while hubby had open heart surgery, and no points on my bw account
