Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Canada. While the room was nice, we were close to the stairway and offices so it got a bit noisy at times. We also heard this odd sound during the day and late in the evening .It resembled someone tossing marbles on the bare surface. Must have happened about 30 times over our two day stay. Play room could use some equipment updates
Very friendly staff .The room was nicely laid out and clean, The resort and park location are great .Restaurant was fine, and offered reasonably priced well presented and tasty meals .Swimming pool building was well maintained but the water in the pool was on the cold side.

CanadaBathroom sink drain could have drained better/quicker. Hot tub was lukewarm warm, could have been hotter. Wasn’t a true hot tub.
Restaurant breakfast was good. Room size was great. Staff were all friendly.

CanadaWhen they cleaning middle of the night, like mopping we can heard them in the hallway. (Prolly cause people walking from outside in winter time, snow melt in floor and need to dry it right away). And not having a door mats going inside the room specially in (winter time) as it get wet soon you enter the room, even tho we put our shoes in the side.
That complete package when we stay, they have pool/hot tub, sauna and steam room good after walk in winter time,Kids enjoy the sled area. And having our dog with us to stay is a plus in this hotel. Having restaurant nearby is awesome and liquor store. A friendly receptionist and people working in there always greet you and welcoming.

CanadaThe sink in our room was damaged and didn't have a stopper, just a hole. I was afraid of earrings falling into the drain.

CanadaIncluding breakfast in the rate would have made it a better deal.
I stayed at this hotel few years past so it was no surprise. However, it is always pleasant to be back in a nice mountain chalet with lots of charm.

CanadaWe had a room on the first floor which was fine but we would have preferred to be able to lock the window. Otherwise it was a basic hotel room with 2 queen beds, the sheets all came off in the night since it seemed they didn't fit very well on the mattress
We liked the facilities, the pool hot tub and sauna were great after a day of hiking! As well, the restaurant is open late and we got a big meal right on site. We loved there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room too.

United KingdomEverything was dated. We were on a 3 week travelling trip so lugging all our cases and bags up 2 flights of steps was not good (no lifts here as the building was 1970's). I would imagine this place would suit people who are not going to spend much time in the room or hotel.
The hotel looked good from the outside and the reception area looked lovely. The rest seemed functional in comparison and much less charm. The shop, restaurant and cafe on the property were large and fine.

CanadaThe halls and stairways could have had a good cleaning.
The location was good. We went for a walk around the nearby lake, which was nice after a long drive. The bedding and bathroom were clean, though there was a large crack right across the bathroom mirror.

United KingdomThis is a resort, rather than a hotel/motel and it can get quite busy with groups. Some were very loud. The only restaurant on site is not very big and can get busy so make sure you book. Limited menu. We didn't try the bar.
We had a generous size room, including two double beds, a dining table with 4 chairs, a separate sofa/tv watching area, a little kitchenette with basic appliances such as fridge, kettle, coffee making facilities. We had the mountain view. Lovely location on our way from Vancouver to Rossland. Had a lovely walk at the very nearby Lightening Lakes.

CanadaThe restaurant’s food was … not very good. We ordered grilled chicken that tasted like synthetic meat. BBQ pork belly was black burnt. Lots of flies will join or become part of the food. Facilities are dated but I am ok with that. Wi-Fi not so good but the Mother Nature’s beauty is more important 😃.
Love the remoteness. It has a lovely swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, gym. The room is big.

AustraliaI acknowledge that the accommodation was in a lodge. However, it just seemed like a few areas could do with a tiz up. Outside areas such as paths need maintenance and no fence around the tennus court.. Restaurant, shop and bar staff were friendly. Reception staff did their jobs okay however maybe need to be a bit more involved and acknowledging with a "good morning" or "good evening" when passing by. Might be a suggestion for the resort to augment the facilities with services such as massages etc.
Great location. It is very scenic and beautiful.

CanadaIf these improvements were made to the Chalet then I would have rated it excellent for our stay. I have one year old twin Grand Baby girls and they are not yet walking. Within a few minutes of crawling on the floors they were filthy. Had my Daughter scoop up kids to go for a walk in stroller so I could sweep and wash floors and baseboards in main room and one bedroom as the floors are filthy. Filled sink about 10 times to wash everything down to my satisfaction. Rooms need a thorough clean and quick coat of paint, also all gross caulking from tub and shower should be removed and cleaned thoroughly and recaulked as I am more conscientious with the new Grandbabies regarding cleanliness for germs. Possibly good to have two frying pans for a group but otherwise the Chalet was stocked pretty good with utensils and coffee. Mattresses should be replaced with new good quality mattress in fold out couches as it was very lumpy and sloped to the centre of bed. Not sure about queen beds as family members didn't mention mattress. My complaint regarding the pool area was that the steam room was closed, which was very disappointing since that is my favourite way to sooth muscles and unwind an the one hot tub should be at least 104 degrees to soothe achy muscles so it was only warm, I don't mind if the other hot tub is warm as then it is good for others that can't take the 104 degrees. Also I noticed that the windows weren't clean or clear which would have been nice to look out when sitting in pool area and the window sills looked dirty and one even seemed to have mold starting which is concerning when families with small children frequent these areas. If these repairs were done on these older areas , then I would give my stay an excellent rating. With good trades people these are easy fixes and not to pricey as my weekend was expensive, however we had a great family vacation, awesome hikes, and all of the staff and guests were great to visit with.
Rented Chalet for my family and loved the set up of the two private rooms , each with own bathrooms. Perfect for Grandma in middle room and Young family to one side and Son with girlfriend enjoyed privacy on other side bedroom. I'm use to rustic so enjoyed the cabins. Pool was nice size and liked that their was two hot tubs, sauna and steam room. Plenty of clean towels to use at the pool and chairs for viewing kids in pool.
