Very small room and bed.

The breakfast was excellent and the location very handy for everything we wanted to see and do.

Apart from the bed, though, the rest of the room’s furnishings looked like street finds, an ill-assorted menage that included an uncomfortable chair, a shabby looking dresser and a bathroom vanity that was straight from Ikea. The barn door bathroom was small and uncomfortable and felt dismayingly public, in part because the room’s flimsy entry door stood directly beside it and was anything but soundproof. The hallways were narrow and dark and looked like they’d been sheetrocked to conceal some pervasive decay. And the free breakfast was a strangely regimented affair with a trio of servers assigning you to seats you didn’t want and ladling out food to you in a modern-day reprise of the orphanage scenes in Oliver Twist.

Its location was just about unbeatable for someone like me who had come to watch the bike race (the Grand Prix Cycliste de Quebec). Its front door was just 500 meters from the finish line and I could actually watch portions of the race from the window of my room, as riders climbed past the Parliament building on the Grande Allee. The king bed in my room was incredibly comfortable. And a couple members of the staff, including the house cleaner, were remarkably sweet and helpful.

1. No defined luggage drop off zone. It’s a VERY busy intersection. Not a good way to start 2. Lobby very small and unable to accommodate more than a few persons at a time 3. Room- Definitely a King bed..BUT I have stayed in many Executive rooms before and this would NOT be one of them. -TV was not a tv but a very small monitor. -room was on the top floor with angled ceilings..so if your taller than 3ft high you’ll be bumping your head…so it made the room super small -no control for room temperature -cold air vent/blower was directly above the bed and held in place by black electrical tape -heat was generated by an electric fireplace -bathroom accommodates only one person at a time and barely that -It WAS clean however 4. Breakfast- very small space for sitting, people had to walk away -food was limited and not available for the amount of people they had to serve- they didn’t allow you to get your own coffee, juice etc..pancake maker only made 2 at a time - very very inefficient

One staff member was quite verbally aggressive when the couple who was to accompany us could not come due to Covid. Despite having contacted Booking, this staff person insisted that I had not contacted you. We never even questioned the cancellation fee. He just approached me with a disgusted look on his face at breakfast. I thought he was just in a bad mood. As I was leaving breakfast he came up to me and was quite accusatory. He should not be dealing with the public in this manner. The only other thing I’d like to bring up is not a complaint. It is just unusual for us not to be able to get our own breakfast food at a breakfast buffet. It felt a little uncomfortable to have to ask for most of the items despite the wait staff being very professional. I have traveled extensively and have not come across that much control over breakfast.

the room too small and can hear something noise from ather room, the breakfast is simple, there is'nt heater boiler water in the room . Room price is higher than quality

Bathroom too small not able to move freely, no fan in it for ventilation. Lots of steam in room after shower. The bathroom floor had hair on it and the toilet should have been cleaned better upon arrival. Very cold in room, not able to control air conditioner temperature in room. Hotel Manager taped the vents to block some of cold air coming in but it didn’t help all that much.

Our room was located on a very busy road and constant noise from the loud vehicles and buses. I would stay again but do not recommend room 51.

Great location to easily walk to all areas. Nice breakfast with many choices. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable bed. It was very hot while we were there and the AC worked great.
