Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Tired, handles falling off doors, drawers broken (falling out and hard to put back in) chipped doors, mould in parts of bathrooms where there is water damage between the shower and vanity. Couldn’t use kitchen table as legs are wobbly and not stable, dishwasher doesn’t work, called maintenance once, but cycles never actually worked. When we cooked on the stove, grease dripped down from the hood. The air conditioner barely worked, opened them up and the filters were filthy and mouldy, so we cleaned them up. Ended up sick for the week, not sure if it was mould or not. Just need a a good refresh and update, even the frames on wall pictures are falling apart. Such amazing potential, but it’s tired and definitely needs work.
Excellent location, good amount of space, fit our family of five comfortably, was very happy to have two bathrooms.

It’s really annoying that you have to drive to a different hotel to check in and out. This is inconvenient and could be easily avoided if they just installed a lock box or something…

Decor is extremely dated (though this wasn't a surprise based on the pictures). Sink in bathroom didn't drain properly. Bathroom wasn't especially clean (a lot of dust on the electric baseboards) Kitchen was poorly stocked for cooking. Could not find a cutting board for example, and only one sharp knife. Lighting in the kitchen is 90s style and super bright - it feels like you are in a hospital. Pullout couch was extremely uncomfortable.
Good location at the back of the village. Beautiful view from the suite across the Olympic plaza towards Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Hot tub was nice and hot. Main bed was fairly comfortable. Ski storage area very handy. Bay window seat was great.

not having a real bed was disappointing and the Murphy bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I slept on the couch on the second night in hopes of getting a better nights sleep. The bathroom floor wasn’t clean and I found garbage in one of the cupboards.

the bed is not very confortable! i chnge the room for the week-end and is not confortable to! but, it’s ok for the prive that i paid, is very cool
the girls at the guest services with brown hairs, i dont know the name but she’s verry friendly with me, i dont speak verry well and she take a time to explain to me everything.

Having to collect & drop off keys from the other side of Whistler is a terribly thought out check-in/out plan. Luckily we had a car but i can imagine if you didn't & especially in winter it would be a nightmare. Disappointing to find this out via the check in email instead of when booking. Other hotels/airbnbs offer remote check in and these work perfectly fine.

Tiny thing. It was a little challenging to go up to another location to find the reception and to not know that I had to do that first. Also-the kitchen was missing some key items like salad bowls. Otherwise we had a terrific stay and I would definitely recommend this as great value and comfort at Whistler!

Parking can sometimes be tight in underground parkade, but it's very convenient

We loved our stay at Marketplace Lodge 348. Location was excellent, close to all amenities. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. It was definitely a home away from home!

did not have AC so I’m the afternoon it was hot in the room. the bath tub does not seem to drain properly when having a shower. would give you ankle bath before drain

There is only one key fob to get into the building. So we had to coordinate all coming and going, which really was annoying. After a day I begged for another, but beware of this issue. If you don't want to be tied together all vacation, clear this up before you rent.
