We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaThe front desk staff upon check-in rolled their eyes at me and made faces at each other even they thought I couldn't see. The bed was very noisy, whenever we got up to use the washroom, one of us waking up from sleep.
I liked the location, some of the staff were pleasant, the cleanliness of our room. The jet tub was a welcoming to end the night of dancing.

CanadaThe staff member who checked us in was not helpful. First she couldn't find my reservation, there was no reservation under my name. But then when i showed her my confirmation she found me, it was because my middle name was showing. But that means my name was showing, there was just an extra name in between. Then asked me for a room deposit, I asked why since my credit is on file and she said it was required as I prepaid for the room. Made no sense to me. She then just told us our rooms were next to each other, enjoy. Didn't tell us the floor, room number or anything about the inn. It's like she wanted us to go away. The towels are so rough and scratchy. Also the elevators are very slow and shakey.
The cleaning room staff we would see in the hallways are so sweet, kind and happy people. Always smiling and greeted us so nicely. The bed and pillows were so comfortable!!! The staff member who signed us out was delightful! She explained more about the deposit and it would be returned in 3 to 5 days. She was very kind to us and chatted a bit. Very nice lady!

CanadaThe restaurant was closed apart from breakfast without knowledge. It would have been nice to go have dinner and drinks so it limited options on things to do without having to travel, sounds insulation wasn't very good
