Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Pillows were uncomfortable, and an extra blanket would have been nice. There wasn't any one or paper available in the room.

The bath tub was blocked, suffice to say i was standing in my husband's shower water while taking my shower afterwards. I have a hard time believing the hotel staff doesn't know as when we left the next day there was still water in the tub..

well, there was a mistake by the front desk person in that he assigned me the wrong room initially. he fixed it in 4 mins. i came in really early in the morning. so i can understand the screw up . he was tired.
it was clean and there was hot water. there was also a fridge .

When I booked online I went to Motel 6's website, but somehow it got booked by something called booking.com I don't know how that happened, so I couldn't get the senior's price. I don't like the sneaky way that booking.com tricks people.
There was no breakfast. I ate at Tim Hortons.

It was fine.
Overnight stay only and served its purpose, good for a cheap motel, lacking coffee/tea in rooms, but this seems to be happening at quite a few places now. But otherwise all good.

The pool was closed, we booked here because of the pool and then we’re told the day before it was closed “due to COVID “. if this is true, as the pool is now half full of sand, they should let people know it’s closed.

Housekeeping was not what I have had in the past. They did not make the beds - which is not a deal breaker for us. There was a bit of a musty smell to the room. However, nothing that would prevent is from staying again.
The property was clean, and fairly well kept. I also liked that it was pet friendly, no carpet and the price was reasonable.

There was no breakfast. The room was veery comfortable and had a little kitchenette. There were some dark hairs in the bathtub and neither of us has dark hair but other than that it seemed very clean.

We always check for bed bugs and when looking under the mattress the bed frame had quite a bit of dust under the headboard. Should do a bit more attention to detail cleaning not just what is seen. Some of the staff was less friendly and seemed rushed when dealing with them.
The size of the room was great with a little kitchen that was updated and a nice bonus for a motel. For a motel, overall it was cleaner than I expected.

The man at the front desk did not greet us upon arrival. He literally said nothing. He could use a bit more personality. On the other hand the man who was there when we checked out, was very friendly. I did not get their names, if it will be addressed, the friendly man was of Asian descent. There was a blood stain on the sheets, although the sheets had been washed. The 2 cleaning staff who came in to change the sheets were very nice and quick and efficient.
The price was fair, the bed was comfortable and the room was spotless.

The city of Cranbrook seems to have deteriorated over the years. A much better place to visit is nearby Kimberley, where we spent some time the following day.

Breakfast was shut down. Coffee at front lobby was available only until 9:30. Should be available until around 10:30am for guests that get up later.
Room was clean. Fridge was very useful. Kept our water and food cold overnight.
