Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Needs a elevator.
Located right on the highway. Room was so quiet. Bed was super comfortable. Next to a fruit stand where i bought 20 lbs of apples. Clean, huge room. Would recommend to friends. Price was perfect. Coffee are was beautiful. Muffins delicious.

Glad Airfreshners took over. They are plugged in everywhere. Scent sensitive.

My husband has a mobility issue and walks with a cane so the stairs were a bit of a challenge. Me taking the luggage up the stairs was a challenge but the staff stepped in and helped with that problem.
did not have breakfast but did have an excellent dinner. The food, staff and facilities were very good - efficient and friendly and clean. The coffee and fruit in the lobby was perfect.

Nothing we didn't like.
We liked everything about Orchard View and it exceeded our expectations - room size, the view from the window over an orchard, cleanliness, pleasant friendly staff and proximity of Indian restaurant (delicious food) and roadside fruit/veg choices. We didn't utilize the 'help yourself' breakfast downstairs in the lobby but it looked great.

Recommend putting up a mirror in the main bedroom - so that one can adjust their hair while someone else is in the bathroom.
Clean motel and friendly staff. Happy for the muffin and apple in the morning - much better than nothing - thank you! Coffee/tea/hot chocolate station set up well and adequate.

The signage could be more prominent. It is hard to see from the road.
This was my second stay at this motel, and I will return. I enjoy the "homey" feel about the place. The ladies at the front desk are so welcoming, like aunties. When you go up the stairs, you feel like you are going to your bedroom. Both times I stayed, I went downstairs for breakfast in my pyjamas! I haven't been to the restaurant on the grounds for a meal, but they welcomed us for a nightcap at the end of the day. I appreciated being able to shop at the adjoining fruit market. It is an unusual setup for a motel, but I have travelled all over the world, and this is at the top of my list for accommodation satisfaction.

No tea or coffee facilities in room, these are provided downstairs. No glasses in the room.
Very comfortable bed. Lovely friendly host. This would have to be the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. It was immaculate. The licensed restaurant next door serves Indian cuisine as well as pasta and fabulous (huge) pizza. Very reasonably priced.

stair climbing but it's still all good
every labor day weekend is annual event and it's only ten minutes from the grounds. yes I will return every year.

The rooms are new so everything was in perfect shape. The bed was super comfortable the bathroom was so clean and the water pressure was awesome! The coffee area downstairs was family style with plenty of coffee and they provided muffins and apples from the orchard.

For those with mobility issues rooms are on second floor but there is no elevator so that should be stated in advertisements.

Everything was just fine.
Impeccable cleanliness, simplicity and attention to detail. You have a feeling that you are cared for. The common facilities were great with a kettle and an amazing selection of teas for tea lovers and coffee machines for coffee drinkers. In the morning we found muffins and local apples in the fridge, though breakfast was not formally included. Outdoor sitting in the garden added to the overall pleasure of staying.

lighting in room - have portable lamps with shades to avoid glare when watching tv.
Hotel offered coffee, tea, muffins for breakfast. Outside patio area was a plus. Fruit stand/restaurant next door was a plus as well--convenient...had lots to offer. Nearby to other town amenities as well.
