Rooms on the back, ground floor were small, and with a small ant problem.

End tables with easy touch lamps were very nice. Additional Keurig pods were easily attainable at front desk. Motel rooms were clean and organized for the small space they were, but there seems to be a small problem of ants across the floor.

Great place. I have a big truck and I had stayed here before so I knew I could park it safely nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff, which is why I returned when I was back in Parksville for business again. I will stay here again every chance I get.

Comfortable, clean room. Nice location. Fun playing mini golf next door!! We asked for a ground floor room after being given a second level room to accommodate our senior dog and we were helped immediately and with a smile. Thank you so very much!

For me, I have arthritis. Stairs are not great. I overlooked the option of asking for a ground floor unit. It lacked 2 chairs. It had 1 chair, my daughter used the chair to eat. I ended up using the corner of the bed. The bathroom mirror had a light in it. Downside it was switched with the main bathroom light switch. Would been nice to be able to just have the mirror light on several from main light. Also the main door had a draft in the breeze. It needs a threshold seal. The blinds were nice but never really closed to keep light out.

Room was decent, first time.e using g a counter top burner. Induction plate. Was interesting.

The shower head is terrible! We did not want a trickle, rain-like shower. Instead some pressure would’ve been nice. As well, the shower curtain was too short, allowing water to run off the curtain onto the floor when showering.

The room was comfortable and good enough for the night’s stay we required.

The loud noise from people walking around on hard surfaces in upstairs unit desperately needs soundproofing or thick carpeting in upper units

Everything except the noise from people walking around in the upstairs room. There is no soundproofing and it must be either wood or tile flooring. Kept us awake most of the first night

Staff are friendly. Room was small but very clean and comfortable, it has small fridge, a microwave, & drip coffee machine. Property is just a few steps walk to the beach. Also within 5 to 10min drive to restaurants, community park. Entrance to Paradise mini-golf, which is just beside The Tide’s Inn, is free for guests of the Inn.

No issues with property.

We have stayed at this property many times over many years. Recent, new ownership has made significant improvements both inside and out. Very comfortable and clean with a large outdoor picnic area that looks like a park and fully equipped for bbq'ing and picnics. Friendly staff and a great location make it an excellent stopover motel.

It was a bit noisy because a large truck with its engine running was parked in the lot at 6 a.m.
