Electrical problems. Power shuts off when we are trying to boil water. Warm inside the room. There's portable aircon inside the bedroom but not outside the main area so we find a way to use the electric fan so the cool air will circulate.

It's clean. Location is good.

The A/C turned off around midnight and it was boiling in the room but was not able to contact the front desk as they ar closed after 11 and only open in the morning at 9.30. There was no support number in cases of emergency. Also,early checkout was not possible as the front desk doesn't open till 9.30 and there was no alternative way to just drop the keys in and leave

The accomodation had A/C. Really appreciate this with the heat wave. Additionally, the parking space was also good.

No air conditioning and it was very warm - our room was 28 degrees and only cooled to 25 degrees by morning. Great bed but was too high for me to get on it as I am very short. We had to rig the chairs so I could use the lowest one to help me onto the bed. The stairs are not very good to the third floor that we were on, high first step, and loose areas.

No breakfast. Not very clean outside room in the evening but trash cleaned up by morning. Room clean but dated. Location good - close to ferry and Nanaimo hospital - but difficult to find any open restaurants nearby. Office not open until 9:30am so not able to get a printout bill for medical expenses.

Outlets for the tv and microwave were not working. I had to re-plug the microwave and fridge into a third outlet so they would function (fridge was warm upon check in). Wasn’t able to use the tv. Bed wasn’t overly comfortable but I prefer a firm mattress. Not a good choice if you’re a light sleeper (thin walls and on a high traffic main road)

Location was convenient, but on a main road and not in the best part of town. The motel rooms have had some updates, but not new and not done too well. Also: NO ELEVATORS. If you have mobility issues, request ground level floor. Everything is stairs. In fact, I fell and injured myself quite badly as the stairs have inadequate anti slip strips and were wet. I was black and blue (and sore!) In multiple places for three weeks :(

Decent budget motel. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure in shower. Nice to have a mini fridge. Pets ok (+$)

It was a bit loud, beside the highway. But that settled down later in the evening. You could see right into everyone's windows on the walk up to the room so we didn't open our curtains, but that was just personal choice for us.

The rooms were nice, but small. Was good for me and my daughter, would have been cramped if the whole family came. Seemed recently renovated. The water pressure was nice.
