I really loved the breakfast options as a vegetarian, and the staff were so kind and helpful. The location was amazing too, just a short walk to Clifton Hill, but in such a quiet little neighborhood and right by the river!

Canada1 review“Definitely will go back”I am very short and the best was high for me. We told them about it and they said that they were going to be moving it out of there. He said that once the foam topper was put on, it made the bed even higher. The bed was super comfortable though.
Owners were very friendly. Complimentary bottle of delicious wine. Breakfast was excellent and they accommodated gluten allergy. Would definitely go back

The only thing we missed was a small set of drawers or cupboard to hang our clothes or a luggage rack for the suitcase...but this is a minor blip.
We stayed 2 nights at the Serene. Lovely comfy bed. The room and bathroom were very clean. The Wifi had a very good connection. The breakfast was good and the owner Jai makes a delicious veggie omelette. I forgot toothpaste and was given complimentary toothpaste/brush which I thought was nice. Free parking. The location is good, the Rainbow bridge and Falls are about a 15/20 walk. If one walks up the hill and head left, the road takes you into the middle of town where most of the bars and restaurants are. FREE PARKING! this is a bonus in Niagara,

Great location, walking distance to the falls but away from the kitsch and crowds. The room was nice but simple. The owners were very nice. Wasn’t able to sample the breakfast because we had a bit of a medical emergency but the owners packed fruit for us.

A proper home from home. Jai and Kannen could not have made us feel more welcome. So friendly…good, old-fashioned warm hospitality. Immaculate en-suite bedroom with super-comfy bed. Breakfast of champions in the morning (no lunch required after eating that). Serene is literally a five minute walk from The Falls. You can hear the roar and feel the spray as you cross River Road. If you want personal attention and a feeling of family, the aptly named Serene Niagara Inn is the place to go. We have very happy memories.
