Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaI found it a little odd that there was no phone to connect to the main building, and my room just happened to be the one where you have to go outside to get to the reception. Other than that there wasn’t really anything that stuck out other than perhaps the parking on the upper level… It’s kind of scary because there’s no fence at certain point and it’s just a drop straight down, The laneway is extremely narrow and many cars that had pulled in forward, were backing up all the way down the hill and around the bend just to get onto the main drag (street).
It was an amazing stay! The room was super comfortable and everything was just within reach. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of! It was a delightful experience!

CanadaIt says that they provided robes for the spa, but in reality, it's only for people who take a suite. The spas that were open were the small ones like 4 at a time, and there were only 2 open. The indoor spa never got warm, and there was a terrible smell. The space of the indoor pool was small, so it smelled bad as well, and lots of humidity was felt in the air since it's such a small space. Bed makes noise, so there is no privacy. I heard the neighbors, and they probably heard us as well...
The location was nice, but I bet it's even nicer in summer to enjoy the view on the lake. The room was cute. Bed gives massage with relaxation music felt good

Been there other times. And will go back for sure. Nice and quiet even though between midnight and one am a couple was arguing very loud and woke us up but that isn't the Hotel fault.

CanadaRooms could be more clean and the inside start to date, renovations by professional will be needed at a certain point. Some things already renovated were clearly not done by professionals.
The neuro bed, the view on the lake, the spas and sauna and the multiple things and options available at the auberge.

CanadaThe hotel being a bit old, the spa's, pool and sauna are definitely add on.... it was not as spacious I expected but did the trick for 1 night.
The breakfast was really good but I was expecting a real breakfast and not a lunch box delivered to the room just like if we were still in the covid era....

CanadaNo food options nearby whereas some other hotels on the same street have their own patio bars / restaurants. Outdated look and furniture. Bugs in the hotel room and very creaky floors. Hot/cold indicator on shower was super sensitive.
Location was great! Access to beach nearby! Hot tubs and pool! Amazing view from the hotel!

CanadaI didn't like the fact that on the day of checkout , which was on Monday at 11 am, (even though the check-in was on Saturday at 3pm), and despite the fact that we went to the beach just one day on the two nights and 3 days we stayed over, they didn't let us keep the card to have access to the beach for a couple of hours more, when I asked to the receptionist. Also, I didn't like the fact that they didn't clean our room after the first night of staying; no one showed up, while they showed up right away the day of the checkout as sson as we left the room, which it was one of their suites. 👎I was expecting more in that sense, considering the price of the suite.
I liked the location, just in front of the lake and of the beach ⛱️ , it was so peaceful. And I have to admit Sainte Agathe des Monts is very beautiful 😍

Canadano restaurant, bar or café shop. too many rules at the spa area. feels more like a school than a welcoming environment. the “ private’ balcony we had was a common area shared with 2 other rooms, though each room had its own deck fourniture clearly identified and we were lucky to be the last room so no one would walk through our area. bring in the first floor, opening the drapes meant anyone could peak into the room 🤪
super location. super clean. super comfortable bed and pillows.

CanadaThe Keurig coffee maker in our room was fussy and didn't work but to be honest it actually got us to go to the reception where they offered free coffee and were so lovely with my child while we relaxed in the lounge "playing" chess. So it actually was a nice blessing in disguise!
Pleasantly surprised by this lovely stay. The room was great and the staff were so nice. Was on a trip solo with my toddler and so REALLY appreciated the access to netflix and youtube and the pool, didn't get to try out the hot tubs but excited to do that next time when I'm not alone with the little one (who didn't want to go to the tubs). Although it was a beginning of winter dreary weather time of year where we didn't really get to take advantage of all the amenities and surroundings I can tell that it must be amazing during warmer times with the beach view and access and access to indoor and outdoor tubs and pool.
