I couldn’t figure out how to use the Roku and the door was hard to figure out. The price was great but I found the fees and taxes were too high, making the overall price more expensive.

The suite was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and instructions were posted and clear. We barely heard the owners upstairs and the suite was very quiet. It had numerous outlets and other options to plug in your devices, which you don’t find in hotel rooms, so that was appreciated. The suite even had extra blankets to use. The evening we were in the suite was very rainy and windy so we were not able to take advantage of the backyard and view, but it was cozy inside. Every room had its own baseboard heating so you can customize the temperature.

Sound from footsteps upstairs was bad on first night. Heavy footsteps prevented me from going to sleep. Woke me up at 2 a.m. Just the first night. Also, stairs down to suite are very steep.

The washer/dryer unit took extremely long. Would not recommend using it. But a very minor inconvenience - didn't really need it, just tried it out, out of curiosity.

Nothing really . A lounge chair in the living room would have been wonderful when watching the sunrise over the mountains at 7 am. Early in the morning , it was too cool to use the Adirondack chairs outside to watch the sunrise.

Simply , the best apartment we have rented thru Booking.com. Immaculately clean and contains every item that we needed. The owners live upstairs and were very helpful and respectful of our privacy. The view over the ocean to Quadra Island and the mountains behind is exceptional. In addition we enjoyed watching a wonderful sunrise from the living room. There are a series of outdoor steps down from the parking area to the apartment entrance.. we found these easy to navigate even when they were wet as there is a very good handrail on both sides.

This suite is a basement apartment under the main house. There is not enough seating in the lounge room - it sleeps 6 but only has a 3-seat couch. There were a LOT of stairs down to the basement/ backyard where the entry is. I wish I was reminded of this in the final communication so we could do an overnight bag with essentials and leave the cases in the car.

Kitchen had all the basic necessities. Comfortable bedrooms. Clean. Nice backyard area with view.

there are notices about noise from upstairs, notably above one bedroom; however, the noise is evident throughout and we switched to a smaller bedroom; they need some rugs or something in the host apartment (above the guest suite)

this spot is well located near the main oceanfront road and commercial centre of Campbell River, it has great views and a spacious kitchen with kettle, coffee maker, fridge etc, also washing machine/drier. Plenty of space and some nice seats outside

We had seen access stairs in the online photos, but had not expected quite so many for moving our bags. Again, Xin was very kind, she helped us carry down the largest bag. Perhaps noting the number of stairs in the posting would be a good idea, particularly for older folks to know in advance.

Not enough furniture in the living room. Three of us had to share one couch to watch tv. The blinds were difficult to put up and down in the end bedroom. The entrance door was very complicated - just to close it was a process and the passcode buttons stuck.

Location and spacious accommodation. Kitchen had all the equipment needed, and tea, coffee and condiments were supplied. Well priced.

This was a lovely, large and comfortable apartment. All 3 bed rooms were very spacious and the lounge and kitchen were huge with plenty of seating and a huge TV. The apartment was spotless and everything we need was provided. The washer/dryer was particularly useful with plenty of detergent provided. The Keurig coffee machine and pods provided were also a nice touch. The bathroom was clean and the hot water for the shower was easily sufficient for the 4 of us. The beds were very comfortable. The views were absolutely amazing from both the house and the garden. We used it as a base for 2 nights to visit Telegraph Cove and this was perfect. There was a parking space on the property behind the owners car which was very appreciated, although there was room on the road outside too. On the last morning we had breakfast at Sunny Day Cafe in Campbell river, very good. I highly recommend this property and I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again myself.

So the stairs lead down to a basement apartment. The parking was interesting? The house is located on a corner of a street, so parking was minimal. The house lock was nice at first until you had to shut the door and the actual directions were hard to locate at first. After finding the directions, it made a lot more sense. Campbell River is a lot further north than you think.

The beds were super comfortable. The bathtub was amazing. Hot water every time. Blackout curtains were fabulous. The price for 2 nights was exceptional. Because it was in the basement, there was no need for A/C as the temperature was on the cooler side.
