Super easy check-in, lovely amenities, great communication

As a very tidy person, I did not appreciate paying a mandatory $30 cleaning fee. Also as the rooms border the kitchen, the quality of your stay is dependent upon the other guests. I was very lucky with both sets of people that stayed so no complaints, just something to be aware of.

The place was very clean and soap, shampoo and conditioner were available in the shower. I did not use these so cannot comment on their quality but it is a thoughtful gesture. The home is close to numerous bus routes and several shopping centres Breakfast consisted of an apple and an individual size cornflake packet. It is advisable to bring some milk with you. I found the bed very comfortable and I slept really well. I was quite ill when I arrived as i had stayed downtown for two days prior to my arrival and had not been able to sleep due to ongoing noise. After one night here my health improved drastically and after my second and final night, my energy levels were restored. It is worth noting that the oowner also has a nail salon upstairs. There is no signage, I found it through a google search. I wish I had known this prior to booking so that I could have set up an appointment during my stay.

The walls here are very thin so you can hear EVERYTHING that your neighbors are doing, making it hard to concentrate if you're trying to get work done.

The host was very kind and accommodating, and the place was cozy and clean.

The other rooms tenants left a heap of hair in the shower which wasn’t cleaned out after their stay. Also did not notice the camera in kitchen which faced the bathroom and of course my partner barged in leaving me in a less than ideal situation.

I liked that the hosts included two bottle of water, apples, tea etc.

Couldn’t really fault anything about it. Maybe a bit on the pricey side as you’re having to share your space with others.

The bed was extremely comfy and the room/shared kitchen and bathroom were decorated beautifully. Hosts were very responsive and were great with us having a super late check in giving full instructions for us. Had everything we needed for our stay.

Renovations going on at the property (not the rented accommodation) so the back yard you walk through to get to the suite is a work in progress, but that is the contractor's fault, not the owner/operator's fault!

Beds and room were not cleaned - we locked our door - perhaps the host did not have a master key. Price is high for the services rendered - it was high season which may explain this.

There was no breakfast - which the ad mentioned was included. parking was inadequate - tight space and hard to get in and out of the driveway - construction of driveway was incomplete. room Friendly host was helpful - shared bathroom and common room was a surprise. TV, news and sports TV are minimal .

Spaces are tight. Bedroom has a desk and a wardrobe and a side table. So bag goes on desk and you crab walk around room. Place is a share. Not really a complaint, I read this when booking. But need to realise this when considering the single bathroom with toilet, and the morning routines. There is more than one room rented here. I woke and waited for some time before I could relieve myself, while the other guest showered, blow dried their hair, put on make up. There is construction going on in the back yard, July 2024, not early morning or late afternoon, but be advised. Parking is tight. Access is up side of house, not through the front,

I was in Victoria for a medical appointment. It was located close to the medical centre I was at and so just an overnight stop. It served my purposes. So there wasn't really anything I didn't like. I will consider it again when I go back for return medical care in a few months.

I enjoyed the family home arrangement....more homestay than B & B. I could her one of the families children practicing piano and they were so helpful in teaching me a quick way to connect to the wifi. There was kitchen facilities so could have cooked for myself. A young European couple was also staying there. Nice conversation.

There was no breakfast offered nor was there any continental breakfast! WHY call it a B&B? There were some things that could have been cleaner.
