Bed was not great and the pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable, flimsy. The place needs a major clean! The carpet was filthy. There's some weird grease/dirt on the ceiling, and the dust was thick on everything from blinds to lamps. The closet doors were falling off the hinges, the bathroom door barely closes, and very loud. Kitchen supplies were a hodge podge, and very poor quality.

Functional layout, space, TV, ski in, ski out, staff for ski valet and desk.

The check-in time is too late. It’s 4 PM, and the check-out is 10 AM, considering the price isn’t fair or even close to 24 Hours. The Parking price is too high. At the time of booking, they charged us 146 CAD for services and tax, but you should still pay 25 CAD for parking. I know it’s Whistler, and it’s not cheap, but it’s not fair, either.

The property location and facilities were perfect.

Unit needs up-keeping, especially air conditioning was clogged with dust and it didn’t work probably if it was hot day it would be unbearable to stay in the room. Kitchen needs some of new frying pans, the ones there are not usable, they are totally damaged it would be nice to have the same full set of cutlery.

The room was very dusty when we arrived. There was holes in the wall which needed attention. The toilet handle didnt work properly. There was also some light bulbs missing from lamps. I managed to get hold of the owner and he sent someone to come and clean it. It was a nice apartment but just needed some attention and a good deep clean.

Lovely apartment, situated in a good area Lovely surroundings with everything you need.

The first thing I saw when I set foot inside was the large tear on the padded coffee table. It kinda set the whole tone for the place even though that might be unfair. Aesthetically it wasn’t good but the toilet worked, the shower had good water pressure, the kitchen had the necessary equipment (it would be nice to have salt and pepper though- that seems pretty standard stuff), we could cook when we wanted, the fireplace was nice, the bed was comfy….but there was a large tear on the padded coffee table. The place was run down and could use some revitalizing.

The location was really great - ski in and ski out - which was the primary reason why we stayed there. It was a short walk into town, and when we didn’t feel like walking, there’s a bus across the street from the hotel that’s free and comes often.

My room wasn't cleaned before we arrived, so we had to wait for another room to be ready. We lost out on the mountain veiw when our room was switch. Which would have been fine but this was my wedding anniversary. It was also the first time since covid started so we were really looking forward to our stay. While I appreciate that a extended stay was offered, I am a university student and my husband works full time. So we left a hour later then check out on the Sunday.

ac was poor and insufficient. only one fan in unit and it was very loud. could not sleep cuz of heat. The main reason we selected this property was for the BBQ and it wouldn’t work; switch broken but found lighter would not heat up. big deal for us cuz we planned our meals around it.

the layout and furniture were as per the pictures. dishwasher and tvs worked well, garburator also. bathtub size. balcony nice. codes worked as per emails from owner; good communication from owner, fastresponses.

Way over priced for the condition of the condo. Everything in the condo is old, beaten up, and out dated. Dining room table looks like it was picked out of a dumpster a decade ago. All the mountings in the bathroom falling off the wall or barly attached. Light in the living room broken cant turn lights on and off Can only control with wall switch Carpet is gross. Bedding and blankets uncomfortable and not very warm. Basically using layered sheets. With out being to blunt condo is certanily owned by an ownet thats out to make money and charge high prices for limited stays. My suggestion would be stay at the executive inn at whistler or some of the other places in the village. Staples hanging out of the cushions of the foot rest nice suprise while trying to move around.... Just over all disapointed in this stay.

Convienance to the resort would be what your paying for.

Horrible experience. Booking.com and The Aspens should ban Dong from hosting - unsafe host.
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • One-Bedroom Apartment

Dong the host is an irresponsible person who didn't consider our safety when he just gave our door access code to someone else without verifying if they were the guest that booked the room for the night (they apparently mistakingly booked for the following weekend but Dong just gave them the door code without asking who it was). We ended up wasting two hours after check-in time (which at 4 pm is already ridiculously late) to finally be able to get into the room after the random people Dong gave the door access code decided to leave the room. Because these other people were in the room before us, they used the shower which was therefore filthy, and used the towels and left the kitchen dirty. Completely not my fault and, again, irresponsible host. Again, the shower was used and dirty, I had to clean it myself. There was garbage left on the kitchen counter, and one of the people spilled something on the counter. The towels were used. I am not expecting to be travelling for hours to come to a dirty room and clean it myself. And for my partner, after completing the Gran Fondo and being beyond exhausted, this is NOT the experience anyone wants to have. Completely ridiculous host and booking company who have both completely ghosted me after being informed that Booking.com does not give out refunds if the host doesn't reply.

honestly the whole experience was a nightmare and Dong is an irresponsible person and irresponsible host who puts his guests safety into question.

    Nothing! 10/10

The Upper Village location is perfect as it is near amenities and only a 5 minute walk from the main village. The hot tubs and pool are amazing especially after a long day of hiking or skiing. The apartment itself was really clean and tidy, with a kitchen, bbq, and sofa bed which were all useful! We had a great time and would definitely stay here again next time we come to Whistler!

Room was not ready at 4pm, still had dirty sheets, towels and rubbish in bins. Property arranged cleaning after I contacted them but was an inconvenience after a long travelling day. Wardrobe door broken in bedroom Dust and dirt behind all furniture including bed, obviously hasn't been cleaned properly recently. No where to put ski boots in the room, could provide a rubber mat (available cheap at Walmart). We kept ours in the bathroom which is small. TVs not working. Contacted property with no response. Living room heater not working. Again, contacted property with no response. Bathroom door doesn't close properly. Outside heated pool not open. Asked for late check out but door code didn't work after 10am and locked us out. Overall poor value and very poor communication from the property. We got a brief message 4 days after we left asking if things had been rectified. I found this insulting. Booking.com responded with a vague template apology. I would NOT stay here again or recommend to others at this price ($1398 for 3 nights). Next time I would book with the hotel direcly for one of their rooms that are better maintained and functional.

The location is great, ski in ski out Blackcomb with access to free village shuttle The hot tubs are located slopeside and open long hours for convenience Reception staff helpful Ski valet available from 7am to 6pm Luggage storage room available (is very small and unorganised) Large bedroom and living room Kitchen facilities adequate
