Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomReally good room, spacious (two bedrooms) and clean. The only thing we'd have liked is some crockery and cutlery, bearing in mind there was microwave and worktop. But otherwise, a great room for families.

CanadaEverything was good overall. Just a couple minor things : our room could’ve had used some towel hooks, perhaps on the back of the bathroom door?, as there was no place to hang towels after showering. Also, we felt that our room could’ve used more lighting . It felt a bit dark, especially upon entering the room.

AustraliaCommunication via booking.com was poor. I emailed many times and no response from hotel. They also took a deposit twice which meant my bank put a hold on card as this was unexpected. I think sauna was broken- didn't use in the 6 days as it didn't heat up.
Bedroom was beautiful- really clean and comfy. Coffee machine was excellent and bathroom great. Cleaning staff was lovely and polite- always offering to provide more towells/ coffee etc. Steam room was great! Hot tub was also good just not powerfull. Lots of places to eat near by and easy to catch bus to resorts and airport. Italian restaurant downstairs but we didn't there. Would definitely stay again - ticks all the boxes for a great stay!

AustraliaI was in a junior suite which had a fridge and coffee machine, but no glasses, plates or cutlery. Being coeliac I need selective food. I was not able to even pour myself a drink or have some in-room dinning - the restaurant at tge inn is not attached to the inn so all they could give was a couple of paper cups and some plastic cutlery- which they did kindly do.
The room I stayed in was very roomy, clean and comfortable.

CanadaThe location, room and facilities were all good. The room was spacious. My only complaint is it was pricey for a middle of the road hotel, and the pillows were all too firm and puffy for me.

CanadaCost to park in the hotel, hot tub too small.
Great location, free ski bus next door, hot tub in hotel, good size room, clean, staff could give us good information when asked about parking options or ski bus times.

United KingdomSpa dressing rooms were at the back of the spa, not the front, so you had to walk through the spa to get there
Rooms were comfortable and clean, staff were friendly Spa was a nice touch, and they allowed us to shower there after check-out to freshen up before our flight

CanadaMicrowave is missing in the room. We bought one at Canadian Tire near the Calgary airport and dropped it at the re-use centre at the end of our stay.
We stayed 6 nights for a ski vacation. Had a large corner room with table and chairs. Newly renovated bathroom. Staff at front desk are amazing. We knew that parking was $20 per night for the locked underground garage which is convenient when you don't want to look for street parking every day. Ski bus stop is next door. If you don't have a car, you can lock your skis in the garage. Walking to downtown takes you 15 minutes.

United KingdomHad to request a room change within hours of checking in as room (117) was very close to kitchens and restaurant and the constant noise from both locations was unacceptable 2nd room (215) was quieter but electrics tripped so TV, coffee maker and fridge stopped working, was sorted out pretty quickly though.
Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds, Fridge and coffee making facilities provided in room Beautiful location and scenery.

CanadaGround floor and corner room meant it was a little noisy from outside or reception area at times, but it never lasted long and no issue later in the evening. Shower temperature a little temperamental at times. Hotel is a little far from the town compared to other properties, feels especially far in colder weather, but is still walkable and bus stop is close by
Spacious room, very comfortable temperature despite being -25°C outside. Staff were nice, had all I needed for my 3 day trip. I liked that there was an empty fridge in the room to put items in.

United StatesThe photos online indicated that the bathroom was in the entry foyer; however, our bathroom was attached to the small bedroom, which meant that everyone had to walk through that sleeping area to use the bathroom. The kitchenette area in the photos had a microwave and long countertop. Instead, we had a very small counter with barely enough room for a coffeemaker and refrigerator. It would have been nice to have a microwave. I recommend uploading more photos to show the additional family room configurations.
Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I particularly would like to compliment Elmer who went out of his way to help us with the hotel parking and park passes to drive to Lake Louise and Banff Sunshine. While the location was not in the downtown, it was a short walk to many restaurants plus it was next to the shuttle stop. The 3 separate beds in the family room were really comfy and perfect for our group size. The room was very clean, well-appointed and updated. The hotel pizza place also was convenient and useful when the weather was bitter cold. It was a great stay and i'd recommend Banff Inn!

CanadaParking was a little hard to find on the street. My suv was a bit too tall for their underground parking which was a bit disappointing. Also disappointed there wasn’t any type of breakfast to be offered in the hotel.
Great location. The bus stop was very close which made it super easy to hop on to run downtown and back again. Room was comfy. Rain shower head was amazing. Hot tub was good.
