Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceFrom the pictures on booking.com's website this place looked like an hotel with private rooms, decent beds, etc... What we found was a kind of mountain hut or YMCA with people packed in bunk beds, 4 to 6 by room, 2 shared bathrooms for everybody, impressive lockers to store your belongings, etc... No towels in the "dormitories" as you need to pay extra to get one. On top of that, we arrived late in the evening as the reception was closed and were given 2 sets of documents mentioning 2 different rooms and a single code to open the doors. Bad luck, the code provided opened a room occupied by other people but not our room. Nice experience at 11pm! We needed to wake up a member of staff in the premises and it took some time to sort out all problems. We were charge close to $180 for the night, which happens to be almost the same price as a Best Western Premier charged us two days earlier. I guess a YMCA would have charged 50 to absolute maximum 100 for two persons! To summarize, I fully appreciate and respect that there are people looking for this kind of accommodation but would expect Booking.com to check the information provided and in such case to make it quite clear what is on offer (referring to an hostel is, I assume, not precise and clear enough for most people). As far as I am concerned, I will not retain Booking.com as my preferred hotel booking website going forward

United StatesNot being able to eat and drink at all in a private room. The AC was at the weird location, could not use the AC while the curtains were closed. They had nice shampoo and conditioner but no shower gel or soap. Lucky we brought one ourselves.
The shower pressure was one of the best I had in my whole life. Room was very nice and clean and cozy.

CanadaLocation was'nt good or safe. My room mates were going in and out of room a lot during night They keep turning lights on and keep changing AC. Lots of disturbance and they turned the ac off. So i ended up having no sleep.
Staff was nice and helpful. Morning breakfast was good. Its nice & decorated place from Inside.

Canada-Not as much security for a Hostel where hostility can occur. -Got harassed by an Asian dude and staff did little to nothing about it. -Was baited by booking.com and didn’t know what a hostel was, let alone sleeping with other random people. -Breakfast was way too basic and not complex. -Not much appliances and bunk beds had very cranky ladders. -Some staff members were a bit too passive aggressive
Nothing really.

ItalyCurtains are not blocking the ligh. I am sensitive and woke up very early. I asked for an hairdryer, did't get an answer if they had one available for guests, so I could not wash my hair =(
Very clean facility (you need to remove the shoes to walk beyond the reception area), quiet, comfortable bed and pillows. Window unit and fan as ac. Breakfast is a plus with fruit, muffins, eggs and fresh coffee.

CanadaDidn't realize that the queen room was directly attached to the common area (couches only feet from the very thin bedroom door and kitchen as well). They did provide earplugs which were an absolute necessity. Wish we had seen more of the layout before booking. Also it was very hot during the night and although a fan was provided it was way too hot to sleep.
Bathroom was large and very clean. It seemed like a lovely hostel for solo travelers passing through.

CanadaIt is at downtown area! And no gated parking! We were already bothered by homeless people while waiting to check-in. So, we decided to leave.
All the staff are friendly. And the rooms are all neat and clean.
