Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaTV was quite old so lacked functionality and picture quality was basic. Tap mixer for shower/bath wasn't the easiest to use and tricky to find a nice temperature quickly in the shower.
Location was terrific, only a short walk to gondola's and just off main village walkway near restaurants/pubs/cafes etc. Great value for price. Room was extremely well maintained throughout stay. Staff were very friendly and always helpful when needing to access or put away snowboards.

United KingdomThere are a few steps to get to the slopes so if you are not comfortable walking in ski boots you might be wary of this.
This hotel is ideally located a short walk from the slopes. The room was not overly big but adequate. As was the bathroom. Not fancy but a good amount of space for toiletries near the sink and a decent enough shower. A small bath. Downstairs were single sex saunas and a nice hot tub. Hot coffee was put out in reception early doors. There was tea and coffee in the room and an excellent fridge. There is an indoor parking garage which was very welcome. Staff were pleasant and attentive and quick to take skis into the store or retrieve them on a morning.

It’s a nice hotel in a great location. The staff were very helpful. The room was clean comfortable in a good size. There is an indoor hot tub & sauna on the ground floor with easy access. Robes are not supplied. There is a secure Ski storage area near reception. That only staff can access about a seven minute walk Inski boots to the Whistler and Excalibur gondolas. A short walk and you’re on the village stroll near lots of restaurants and bars.

AustraliaThe board/ski room probably could be converted into lockers given the hotel and rooms don't otherwise have any particularly good space for drying/airing boots and ski clothes. A locker in the dry/board room (similar to other resorts we have stayed at) would do the trick as the process of drying/airing ski gear in a two queen bed room didn't really work well.
The rooms/beds were very clean and comfortable. The staff were always available, friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic.

CanadaRoom is a bit small and nowhere really to sit except on the bed. The 2 small chairs not really comfortable.
Great location for ski in and out. My husband and I didn’t ski but my teenage son snowboards so it was good for him to come and go as he wanted. Right in the Village so easy to walk everywhere. We parked our car the whole time (be aware there is a $28/day parking fee on top of room charge) but that is probably standard for the Village. Loved that there was free carbonated water available by the ice machine!

It was our first time at Listel Whistler and we will definitely be back. The location is fantastic, the room was clean, and the garage parking was easily accessible. Overall great value. We also appreciate the hot cocoa and warm cookies in the lobby after a day on the mountain.

United StatesCould be closer to the slopes. But every block closer adds more $$$$.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Remembered our name the following morning when we had asked about parking at check in the night before. Can't say enough nice things. Love that its very close to the Crystal Lounge (inside the Crystal Lodge which is across the street; a great hangout with a great happy hour)

CanadaNot enough power outlet for customer. There are two outlets on the dresser, but the table lamp uses one of them, leaving only 1 available outlet in the room. With the number of devices these days, it’s hard to share a single outlet to charge all of them. The room door didn’t insulate the sound too well. You can hear people talking clearly while walking in the hallway.
Close to the village while away from the village stroll, so you will not hear people talking on the street. The newly renovated bathroom is a plus.
