Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe only negative was that my TV was full of static, but I wasn't travelling to watch TV.
The location was incredible for visiting downtown. Over three nights, I attended two Raptors games and ate in great restaurants with everything within walking distance.

CanadaWindow was completely unsecured and you could access other windows from the rooftop that it led out to. There were suspiciously fresh looking stains and hair on the pillow cases. There was only one washroom available on the floor for the shared washroom rooms, (it looks like there usually are two, but one was out of service), so an adventure to other floors was required to find a free washroom.
Front desk staff were friendly and informative, and the location was great! Lots of shops and all kinds of restaurants around, and only a 15 minute walk to Union Station.

CanadaMaybe some curtains on the windows to block the early morning sun. A box of Kleenex would be nice too!
Great value for the money and great location. Our room was pretty tiny but it was perfect for a night. Unfortunately we didn’t get back to our room on time to go to the bar for the New Year’s party.

CanadaWould be nice for more amenities supplied but what they did offer was enough. I think I would have appreciated a box of tissues so I didn't have to use the toilet paper, but that's a minor complaint. It does not have an elevator so people with accessibility issues should be aware of this. The room does get cold fast if you're not running the little radiator. Overall, rather small issues, value for money :)
It was very easy to check in. The room was old, but very tidy and clean and had all the things I needed for my stay. The location can't be beat for the price. Very well soundproofed from the live performances downstairs, just the street outside is where the noise comes from which is typical for downtown Toronto. Comfortable bed and large enough space. I chose to have my own bathroom which was worth it.

Mexicothe stairs are quite small to carry large suitcases (keep this in mind if you are travelling with a suitcase). It's difficult to coordinate with others to use the shower.

United KingdomStreet outside was a little noisy but that's to be expected when you're right in the centre of downtown. I expected it and it didn't bother me, but more fussy people would probably complain.

United StatesThe front desk agent was fine, but not exactly engaging or warm/welcoming. Biggest complaint was that I feel the cover to the club downstairs should be complimentary. I was not expecting to pay the cover and also didn't realize that that show I paid the cover for ended 30 minutes later and that I had to leave and pay another cover later in the evening. I ended up not coming back to the club during my stay and spending money on F&B.
The location was great, room was clean and bed was comfy. It was small, but was all I needed. It felt safe.
