I would appreciate a full length mirror (for which there is ample space).

The location was excellent; very close to two major bus lines that took you downtown or to Kerrisdale and UBC. The accommodation was large and very spacious containing a comfortable sofa, small table and two chairs in addition to a king size bed. The bathroom was also large with a very good shower. The pantry/kitchenette was equipped with a microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker and small fridge. A major bonus was the quietness despite being on a major street. I only met the hosts outside on a couple of occasions when returning to the guest house. They were very friendly and responsive to a couple of small requests I had. Having lived in Vancouver for 34 years in the past, I was not dependent on them for information about Vancouver. It was a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

The common area looks great but it is only suitable for summer months as there is no heat in there. It was hard to get the heat just right in the room—it was either too hot or too cold for sleeping and we couldn’t find an extra blanket (these are minor issues!). We would totally stay here again.

It’s a very convenient distance from the airport. It was also not far from UBC on the bus to go see our son.

No WiFi as the property's hard line had been cut accidentally by a neighbour trimming their hedge, so no internet, phone signal or TV, a quick repair was not possible, and this made getting around difficult as we had no way of booking a Taxi/UBER.

Good sized rooms with more than adequate facilities, clean and quiet at night. Our hosts tried their best to alleviate a significant WiFi problem that was out of their control but eventually, coupled with illness, led us to move location to downtown Vancouver. Shops, restaurants and other facilities were about 15 minute walk away; this would not normally have troubled us but with no WiFi and as we were unwell, left us little choice but to leave a day early. In other circumstances we would have been happy with our choice of accommodation in Vancouver.

We liked pretty much everything! The location was great - a few minutes walk to the bus right downtown and a short walk to several nice shops and restaurants. We didn’t see much of the owners but they were very helpful and let us leave our luggage after check out time. Super comfy bed!

The street could be heard at night, you are still in a big city.

Housing costs in Vancouver are very high. When booking, we had sticker shock, but other costs (food and public transportation) are reasonable.

We not only loved the location and facility, but our hosts (Christine and Wu?) were fabulous. They were very responsive to my communications. They showed us how to use the state of the art wash machine, ideas to visit, restaurants etc. They were more like family. Also, the home is very convenient to the transportation system when you learn how to use it. Tip; buy and unlimited day pass. It works for the sky-train, busses and harbor ferry. We would return in a heart beat.

I like to have fresh air and it wasn't possible to open the window. There was a small AC duct but I still felt "closed in". The bed felt something like memory foam, which was OK, though my back prefers firmer mattresses! I couldn't use the pillows bc they were large, high blocks of the similar memory foam.

Fabulous location-close to Granville St & its bus route, and on West 41st with its bus route, so very easy getting around on public transport. The space was a good size, had a lovely bathroom and kitchenette as well as other comfortable facilities to relax.

The guest house is located in a nice and green neighbourhood. The next bus stop is only 5mins walking away, from where buses are running almost every 5mins to the closest Metro station (Oakridge 41st ave) or Vancouver city centre. The rooms are located at the backside of house in a green and well kept garden. There is also an inside swimming pool (which couldn't be used when we were there). Our room was quite spacious, very clean and even had a small kitchenette. The owners were really nice. They responded to our messages within 5mins and let us check in 3hs earlier.
