Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaI think this place is very secret because I didn't see the post of hostel's name when I find the hostel and it looks like a empty place from outside, then I went inside,I saw there is no one but a surveillance camera in there,I think I went to a wrong place at first or I went to secret base of gang in many movies at first, when the staff opened the service window,I know it's wicked hostel. .
Place is near subway station. Staff is friendly. It's quiet and safe.

IrelandThe beds were a bit squeaky but I wouldn't let that stop me going back. The entrance can seem a bit creepy wen you arrive&are waiting for someone to answer the bell, but don't worry they will!
A really friendly hostel, lots of other people on a working holiday visa stay there so it's nice we could help each other out. The kitchen is open 24hours which is great for jet lag. The breakfast is yum free tea, coffee hot chocolate all day. The bathrooms&showers are lovely&clean&have hairdryer. Free towels!

BrazilThere could be a lamp in each bed, as to see your stuff when other people are sleeping, also the breakfast could start a bit early
The bed is quite comfortable, there is a locker and a power outlet in each bed.

CanadaWell, I don't have anything which I don't like but the things that can be improved are like the Women's bathroom shower area can be cleaner but it depends on individual cleanliness too. and temperature of the room so during my stay the heat is a little high in the room maybe its because I am too close to the heater but it can be lower. I was so exhausted after work that I could not go and let them know but I am sure if would have told them they could have done it (they are super nice and welcoming people ).
It's a hostel and I stayed in the 10-bed dormitory. They have almost all the facilities like a Full kitchen(with 2 big fridges and utensils), Library, a common room, a small recliner theater, and games. They have laundry services for free and They are in downtown. So if you are looking for affordable sleeping and social option this one is on top

CanadaWhen I was paying through your site, Booking.com, it showed that I was paying for a single twin sized bed, not a bunkbed. The first night I had to sleep on a top bunk while still recovering from a broken foot and a broken ankle. Please change that on your site (there's no single separate beds there, only bunkbeds).
Staff was great, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was awesome! There were gluten free options: fruits, oats, almond milk, coffee and tea. It's close to public transport and has easy vehicle access too. I'd certainly stay there again. Thanks Wicked Hostels!

United StatesThe bunk bed mattress was very clean and comfortable but the frame was too squeaky. Every time I move or the traveller at the bottom bunk moved, it made a lot of noise.
The location was really good and the other travellers were all very friendly and respectful. I really liked the kitchen and the amenities provided.

Canada-Shower stall is a bit small -When you first arrive it can be a challenge to get a hold of hostel staff as the front desk is on a whole different floor than the rest of the hostel and isn't always occupied
-Big spacious common areas: dining, lounging, theater, gameroom/lobby -Fun events 7 nights a week -Friendly staff who also live at the hostel -Great location: Minutes from Bow River, Fort Calgary, 17th Ave, walkable to/from many bars/clubs/restaurants -Clean/comfortable sleeping areas/restrooms etc.
