Krafft Basel felt like home! I was so comfortable. The sun refused to come out for long but the view from my room and the restaurant was spectacular! I would definitely have my event in that cozy restaurant! The umbrella ☔️ was high quality! I was so happy! I'm using all the post cards 🇨🇭🍫

What was not to like. Excellent location on the banks of the Rhein. Great communication beforehand, which made getting to the hotel to from the airport very easy. Staff were all super friendly and couldn't help enough with any issues or questions. Room clean, tidy, comfortable and more than adequate. Breakfast to die for 😍 everything from cereals, fruits, juices, breads, cold meats, cheeses, sausages, hummus, salad, eggs (fantastic egg scrambling machine) and even make your own waffles. Basel was a beautiful city. Interesting to see, everyone very friendly. Eating out was great too. Would thoroughly recommend a trip to Basel and definitely stay at the Krafft Basel Hotel. You will not be disappointed.

All the receptionists and other staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast, while expensive, was good. The amenities were good and there was freely available tea, coffee, water. We would stay there again.

I cant imagine how they would improve in any area.

Staff was very courteous and welcoming. Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful. Location to city was easily walkable. Rooms over looked a Christmas Market in one side of the building and a lrge river walk on the other side of the building.

We were delighted with the friendly and accommodating staff and the overall quality of the accommodations. However, while retaining some old-world glamour is charming, the rooms' soundproofing could definitely use some improvement.

The hotel is in a prime location, offering stunning views of the Rhine River and easy access to the charming old town. Guests will find that all major attractions, shops, and restaurants are conveniently within walking distance, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Breakfast here is excellent, with a wide selection available for several hours, overlooking the Rhine, and the option to dine in the evening adds to the experience. We particularly enjoyed the cosy sitting room next to the reception. It’s beautifully decorated and serves as an excellent spot for meetings and discussions, blending comfort with convenience.

There was no mention in the property description of major street construction going on outside of front door as well as drinking/eating Christmas Market on the hotel street that went on nightly well into the wee hours.

Great location for walking or accessing the free transportation around the city. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
