Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. Unfortunately the entry way to our room smelled terrible, the kind of smell that is associated with either mold or urine from animals. We are also surprised by the fact that the heating/HVAC in the room did not work, with the exception of the standard radiator from the bathroom - the problem was not fixed because there was nobody from the technical team available during our week-end stay, however the team did provide us with a small electric heater that did its job.
Very welcoming staff, provided helpful instructions. We also got upgraded to a junior suite, which we appreciated. The beds and the linens were excellent, bathroom and the amenities as well.

Brown stains on one of my towels. Very warm in the room even with the air-conditioning on full so would have been nice to have been able to open more windows.
Didn’t have the breakfast but colleagues said it was good.

Mini fridge was "free" but the 2 free waters inside were not really cooled. The shower door was out of glass and creaked really loudly when opened or closed. I know small details but those would improve the stay :)
Really nice check in lady, comfortable beds, late check out available and helpful staff. Good location close to city center (easily walkable).

The location is ok, but not great. The decor in our room was a little tired. There wasn’t anything to complain about, but I wouldn’t say there was anything particularly special, either.
The hotel has underground parking which was great. The bed was comfy, but not large, and when we asked we were supplied with an extra pillow each which made for a better nights sleep.

There was no hand washing soap so we used the body shower gel. The hairdryer didn't work and was somehow sticky.
Quick check-in and check-out. Breakfast was good. The room was big and clean.

The furniture is quite dated. The temperature in the room at night was to high, A/C- fan rather noisy. The price of the parking steep (we parked in a side street).
The location of the hotel is good and practical. Room was quite spacious. Nice bathroom and shower. Kind receptionist.

I was not too keen on the menu. Read that there was fab pizza but that is now gone. Didn't not enjoy the food.
Room was clean and the location was fantastic. We were able to explore St.Gallen via foot.

Location is not that great since no taxi base nearby and neither the train station was close by. Reception staff was relatively slow
Breakfast was good but compared to the overall room price charged, breakfast could have been better. There was only 1 attendant in the breakfast area and in busy timing, that was little challenging for him and for gusts as well

The plugs are not beside the bed, you need to plug the devices at the desk.
Nice location, within walking distance to the railway station. Parking is located underground if you arrive by car. Check in fast, elevator to the room. The room is nicely decorated, bathroom with bath, toiletries available. Safe with code, wardrobe, desk. Mineral water is replaced every day as well as 1 bottle of beer. Breakfast was not as buffet (I guess because the hotel was not full) but there is a good choice from à la carte menu and you can ask eggs, bread, croissant, yougurt, muesli. WiFi no password needed and is working well. I had dinner at the restaurant (kitchen closes at 21:30) and the dishes are tasty. There is also a bar and a casino (I cannot comment because I did not go). Coffee and tea are available in room with nespresso machine. Some nice restaurants are close by (i went to the Netts that I can recommend)

Expensive so we didn’t eat in the hotel! We had thought of eating on Sunday evening but the restaurant was closed.
The concierge on in the evening (Silvio) was so helpful& friendly.
