Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Kitchen is open 24/7, amazing The pool is perfect, you can play pool and have a great terrace on top for the sunset. An amazing hostel with great vibes and excellent service.

The staff is very nice the food is pretty good the pool is good temperature and the rooms are clean with good air conditioning even with the 15-person bedroom. At the time that I was there it was pretty empty and quiet although there is music throughout the day. Good price for the stay the Wi-Fi could be better though all in all I recommend

One toilet and shower in the 15 person bed dorm, there were more external toilets by the pool though

Food was tasty but a bit pricy. Dorm is pretty basic. No curtains, and no socket or privet light next to the bed. There are small lockers next to the pool.
Great hostel. 5 minutes walk from the main street. Nice and clean pool. Really nice terrace to chill. The stuff was super friendly and helpful. 24 hours reception and restaurant.

One of the staff was way too intrusive with taking photos (I assume for their social media), trying to take close ups without asking or really speaking at all. Spoke to the excellent manager about it, the guy avoided taking photos of me and my friend after that but kept doing it to other guests.... I guess lots of people wouldn't mind this though.
Great pool and super great rooftop chill area, we spent most of our time on the roof! Lovely sunset views. Excellent food (the schnitzel and milkshakes are awesome) and available at all hours. Good location. Staff were friendly and efficient, especially the reception girls. Kitchen does an amazing job too! Rooms are basic but clean and totally fine for the price.

there isn’t much to do besides the pool and the roof.
they have 24/7 kitchen. the roof to sit on and chill and watch the sunset is amazingggg there is AC in the rooms

I think the food is a little overpriced for what they offer (good food, but too simple for the price); the room cleaning could have been better, it was very dirty under and between the beds, I stayed for two nights and the toilet was never properly cleaned.
Great hostel. The common areas are awesome, there's a kitchen with good food and a bar. The staff was really nice.

Taganga isn’t very nice. I would only go and visit here if you’re doing a diving course.
Good place for 1-2 nights.

Very popular with Israeli tourist. They were just extremely loud at all hours, and would leave their garbage everywhere.

if you don’t have problems with loud music from 9am to 4am of the next day go for it. There was no moment of peace. this is a loved place from Israelis that want to party and get wasted.

Extremely loud music. I like party. But this volume was not for party. It's crazy loud. Even in the bedroom the extremely loud beats shook your heart. It's extremely uncomfortable! Not possible to talk to anyone anywhere because of the loud music! And they wouldn't lower the volume no matter how many people complained about it. There was no escape because the surrounding area is not safe. I had the worst two nights trapped in this mad place.
